Was perfect for just husband and wife, one night stay to check out all the little shops, bars, restaurants (mostly in Havre de Grace) No kitchen really just fridge, microwave, keurig coffee (not a fan of that coffee) but was a really nice coffee shop within walking distance. A very cute, comfy place.

If you love Victorian architecture, you’ll love this place. Very clean. Lovely town with restaurants to walk to. Our dog loved the new dog park very close to the inn. We also used the public boat ramp just down the street.

The apartment was adorable, cute, chic Victorian style with charm. Perfect size for 2, myself and my daughter. Everything we needed for a quick weekend away for a family baby shower and plenty of great dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner were just steps away. Within walking distance to the Susquehanna River, made for nice evening walks. It was warm outside but very cool and comfortable inside with the 2 AC units. Apartment layout is great, quaint and cozy. Big bathroom, great for 2 women getting ready! Couch and chair in LR could be updated, while they are perfectly suited for the aesthetic, they were very uncomfortable when we were relaxing in the evenings watching a movie. Just new, thicker seat cushions would be a huge upgrade! Bedroom is a great size, plenty of space. Bring ear plugs for noise (stated to be provided in the Host guide book but were not for us, but I am sure if we had said something, it would have been provided). While warned of car and people noise being on Main St, there is also a freight train line that goes through a few times after midnight. It's directly behind the Manor and is very loud. All in all, for the price point, it was what we needed and enjoyed our stay.

Nice for one night, some confusion in the amenities available

Beautiful property in walking distance to all the attractions of Port Deposit. Nice stay for one night. Unfortunately did not sleep well because bed is memory foam, which is not comfortable for me personally. Was also a little disappointed regarding the hottub listed on VRBO. There is no actual hot tub, i believe this was referring to the bathtub inside.

Great property in a cute town!!

I loved staying at the property a Port Deposit is a small, charming town with great people and places to eat! The property is over 120 years old (which is what drew me to it) and there are things you “know” come with that. The Queen suite was larger than I anticipated… I could hear the occasional traffic driving by and the nights I was there a few trains went by (close to the railroad tracks). However, all of that made me love the place even more! Gwendolyn was always responsive and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend!

Will certainly be returning!

The room (suite) that we had was perfect for the 2 of us. It was spacious and quaintly decorated, the suite was well equipped and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, we slept well and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the back porch, which was very relaxing. The location is perfectly situated near the center of town. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Unfortunately, our weather did not cooperate and we were unable to walk through town, but it is an adorable setting for a relaxing weekend for us. Booking was easy and all of our communication with the owner was very pleasant- Gwendolyn was very attentive and quick to respond. One of the things that we appreciated was the packet of information that was provided regarding check in and check out, places to eat and on local attractions. We highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing, comfortable get away. You will not be disappointed!
