"Situation idéale : à deux pas de la gare routière et de même pour la plage. Quand je suis arrivée, je n'ai pas eu la bonne chambre (ventilateur à la place de la clim). "Family of 4 in a private villa. It is not so big, but it was plenty of space for the 4 of us - and the large patio was absolutely fantastic. It was right by the pool which was also very nice and like everything else very well kept. The WiFi did not work in the villa - you had to go outside on the patio. "Friendly staff good location We felt this property was very run down and we didn’t want to stay there as it was quite dingy and depressing Stuck it for 2 nights and moved elsewhere for another her 5 nights and enjoyed port Barton Shame as this place with a bit of TLC could be a little gold mine - as it stands it’s 70% empty "

"Get off the shuttle and it's RIGHT there. Staff immediately arranged anything; laundry, fishing, kayak, scooters without ripping me off. It's a small town... everybody knows everybody, , know what I mean? Being cool wherever you stay will help you."

"Very pleasant indeed , beautiful scenery and peaceful. Make sure you bring insect repellant and I dont advise kayaking around the the next bay north. The second we set foot on the sand an extraordinarily obnoxious and aggressive man / campsite owner said he would set his Rottweilers on us which kind of put the dampers on the day."

"Marina Terrace (the restaurant) is beautiful for sunset and the couple running it, Kieran and Beth really make the place special. They are knowledgeable world travelers so we found kindred spirits. Kieran is an amazing chef who whipped up to die for risotto as good as we have had in Italy. They gave us great recommendations of where to go and what to do. This is an authentic local experience with few tourists. The town itself is very safe and close by there are some nice hikes and killer beaches...
