Nestled in the picturesque hills of Port Angeles, this eco-friendly and beautifully refreshed single-story home offers a serene retreat. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a sofa bed, it comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Thoughtfully updated with a modern mid-century aesthetic inspired by the 1950s, the home seamlessly integrates smart home technology and energy-efficient appliances, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and renewable energy practices. Huge picture windows on the north side frame breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Vancouver Island, and Mount Baker, bringing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest into your living space. Ideally situated, this home serves as a perfect base for exploring all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. Additionally, its environmentally conscious design ensures the preservation of this stunning region for generations to come.

Inside, relax in the warm and inviting living area with comfy furniture, smart TV & free high speed internet / wifi. Enjoy making meals in the well equipped kitchen, complete with pots and pans, range, oven, microwave and fridge. The private patio with patio furniture and a propane grill. Garage is not available. Driveway parking for 2-3 vehicles, free street parking. For eco-conscious travelers, a Level 2 EV Charger outlet is available. However, do remember to bring your own charging cable for use. This property is designed to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible!

No Pets/No Smoking/No Fireworks or Events

A discount of 10% off for 6-9 nights and 15% off for 10 nights or more will automatically apply at booking. If you booked via Airbnb, the discount will already be included in the price and will not show as a separate deduction. If you booked via VRBO, please ask us to apply the discount to your stay. For longer stays between 21-28 nights, we'll set up a mid-stay cleaning free of charge, and an additional $260 non-refundable fee will be applied to cover up to $3,000 in damage insurance, ensuring peace of mind during your extended stay.

This is a great retreat for quick trips, small families or guests looking for a place to call "home" for a bit longer stay. Free Internet for working or schooling from home and it has a washer and dryer.

Perfect stay

Everything about this property is perfect! The location is wonderful and we loved watching the big ships. The kitchen and outside grill made meal prep easy. And we loved having puzzles to work on after a day visits the national park.Thank you!

Port Angeles Stay

The house is a very nice place, clean, incredible view, perfect size for a family stay. Quiet neighborhood, very peaceful but convenient to everything in town. Only drawback of the place is that the mattresses are quite soft and should probably be replaced as they dip in. Despite this, I'd highly recommend this home for a short or long term stay.

Great Stay

My son and I stayed at the Horizon Hillside as part of our visit to the Olympic Peninsula and ONP. The home and location met our needs perfectly. The house was very clean and comfortable and in a great location. And the sunrises out of the front windows were stunning!

Great location

Great location, easy access to ferry & eating establishments. View was nice, with lots of windows! The deer were fun to watch. Decor was a bit dated, but very comfortable and fully stocked kitchen was appreciated.

Beautiful house with amazing views

House is in a great location to the National Park as well as restaurants and shops. Beds and other furniture were very comfortable. We vacationed over the 4th of July holiday and was able to see all of the fireworks from the front of the house! I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic View with 70's Charm

We had a relaxing stay in this nicely maintained 70's style house (style reminded me of the Brady Bunch). It felt as if we were staying with friends. The kitchen and baths were had everything we needed. The neighborhood quiet and was within walking distance to downtown as well as a few restaurants closer. The view from the living room and dining area was stunning and they even provided a telescope to see the ships better. This house was very clean and comfortable.

Perfect Location for Olympic National Park

Ready access to all if the park, the view from the front windows was amazing! Loved watching the ferry come and go and we had deer visit 2 times during our stay.
