"I love this place and have begun recommending it to all my friends. The breakfast was fantastic: fresh and many choices. The property was nicely decorated and appropriate for a period hotel. The place is very interesting and a little quirky, but I love that. No elevator, but staff help you with your bags. All the staff members are always ready to answer questions and help in anyway possible."

"Everything about our stay was wonderful. We arrived early morning. Though we could not check-in until 3pm, the staff safely stored our bags and offered a light bite while we waited (didn't charge). They were very helpful throughout our stay. We had a late flight and again on check-out, they stored bags and charged phones. "Extremely convenient location for the night before our cruise. We stayed in a family room that was perfect for our family of 4. Excellent restaurants nearby, and a grocery store a short walk to pick up some drinks to bring on board. The welcome drinks were a very nice touch! "

"The property is situated on a small, quiet walkway while still very near lots of shops, eateries, etc. Our room was spacious and had a wonderful balcony for enjoying early morning coffee with a view in the fresh air. We walked to St. Marks and several places on the Grand Canal. Just one note: the building has no elevator, so beware."
