"This was a beautiful place to relax in peace and quiet! A fantastic view, Darren and Sue are excellent hosts and the wine is spectacular! Take them up on the offer for the tour, they are passionate about their vineyard and their wine. You can't beat a glass of wine under the Oak Tree in the center of the vineyard. "

"This is a beautiful cabin right on the lake, very peaceful and relaxing! It is a good location for day trips to Lunenberg and the coast, and Kejimkujik NP. Well equipped kitchen (be sure to get groceries before arriving as limited stores nearby). Two canoes made for a fun day of paddling around the lake from island to island. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

This was perfect for a 2 day get away and I could have stayed longer, but was expected in the Annapolis Valley. "My husband and I stayed at this lakeside retreat in early May. Our son in law's family have a cottage down the road. While we spent most of our day in the other cottage, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Lakeside retreat. It is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed working on a few puzzles and listening to music on the Google Home Sound system. We hope to come again one day with our granddaughters and swim in the Medway river and Ponhook lake."

"This is a hidden gem! The house was gorgeous and had the perfect cottage feel along with all the amenities. Located on a cute cove off the larger lake created a nice private feel and made the water warmer! Mike was great communicating with and answered all our questions! A great place to escape for the weekend. Would definitely recommend!!"
