The "Bluewater Dream" Waterfront Lake House with dock & spectacular views +WIFI

“Bluewater Dream” sleeps 10-12 & is a unique 1750 sq. ft. multi-level waterfront home. Hang out under the pergola near the water's edge and enjoy great views of the lake or just relax.

Outdoor amenities include a 2 person & 1 person kayak (2 total), fishing gear, backyard fire pit and a charcoal BBQ grill (charcoal not provided).

Additional great places for viewing the lake include the covered deck off the main living area & the upstairs balcony off the master suite.

The master suite has a King bed, 50” SMART TV with a shower and jacuzzi tub. The 2 guest level bedrooms both have Queen beds - one includes a TV & DVD player with streaming access & the other has a 32” TV with Direct TV. The main living room has a 50” SMART TV with Direct TV and is a nice place to watch your favorite show or the game with a group.

The downstairs area is designed to be a great room for family gatherings or just to hang out after a day of fun & sun. It includes a bar & wine fridge, Foosball table, plenty of board games for adults and kids, pub table with poker chips and playing cards, plenty of DVD’s to choose from or watch Direct TV. There’s also a Karaoke machine and Wii for more family fun! Downstairs room has a leather sofa that converts to a queen bed and 2 sets of twin bunk beds.

The driveway is large enough to park your trailer with boat or jet skis and the public boat ramp is only 1 mile away (near the bridge to Onalaska) for easy launching.

Your home away from home will be a great place to make memories again and again! It can be a romantic getaway, a place for precious family time or to hold the celebratory event you’ve been planning. For whatever reason you choose, you’ll get the opportunity to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the lake while getting back to nature and away from the routine of your daily lives.

For you birdwatchers, there are birdhouses in the back with a great opportunity to sit and watch all the activity at certain times of the year - be on the lookout for a pair of eagles that hang around the area. The early risers can enjoy a beautiful sunrise and those who like to stargaze will be amazed on a clear night at just how many stars are shining.

* Sam Houston National Forest - hiking trails, fishing, etc.
* Naskila Casino - open 24 hours a day and ready for the gamblers in the group
* Onalaska - several family restaurants, Donut Shop, etc.
* 22 miles to Livingston (Lowe's, HEB, Walmart, etc.) & 21 miles to Huntsville (Movie Theater, restaurants, etc.)

Please note - water level in the cove varies based on rainfall, water release, time of year, etc.

About the owners:

We were looking for a place the family could gather and enjoy time together + make memories. We fell in love with Lake Livingston and knew when we first saw the Bluewater house it would be great for us. We also wanted to share with others looking for a similar experience! Hopefully, you’ll love it as much as we do and want to come back again and again!!

Why Point Blank:

The small town feel and gorgeous views of the lake made it an obvious choice. There’s a grocery store (Brookshire Bros) and several restaurants within a few miles. Also, within walking distance is a convenience store for last minute needs - bait, gas, ice, snacks, etc. We enjoy fishing and spending time around the water. More importantly, it gives us a great escape from the big city hustle and bustle!

Family Spring Weekend Get-A-Way

We had a wonderful stay. Owner was very responsive and the place was perfect for our group. Wonderful views. Easy access to fishing just down the road and the Livingston was only about 15-20 minutes away. Great house right on the lake.

Quiet, relaxing getaway

The Bluewater Dream was a good place for us to spend a few days. We were able to accomplish our goal of resting and relaxing over a long weekend. We most enjoyed sitting on the covered porch with a view of Lake Livingston. The house is updated and nicely furnished.

Lakefront Treasure

This lakefront home has been our 4th of July getaway for the past two years. It is nicely situated in the cove with full water access. Plenty of room for guests and a game room for entertainment. Awesome owner. Book early because we will be back.

R&R Getaway

Location was perfect waterfront. We were able to walk out pretty far into the lake and enjoy relaxing tubing/floats. The wind kept it cool outside at night. The house and setup were extremely spacious, which made for plenty of relaxation and no feeling of ever being crowded.

Great place for a family trip!

The house is a perfect place to stay if you have kids. My family had a great time. The downstairs game room was a family favorite. It's also a great spot for fishing. There's loads of catfish in that cut. The owner was very attentive and responded quickly when I had any questions. Overall we had a fantastic time and will definitely be staying again!

Perfect for any occasion

My stepson graduated and so we drove down from DFW area for the weekend. We had family fly into Houston airport which was not difficult to get to from there. There are multiple areas so it was nice to help give people their own space. I can not think of anything negative to say about this house.

Great Property

Overall the home was perfect for our group of 6. Grandparents and 4 of our grandchildren. The house is on the edge of a cove with neighbors on both sides and directly across. At the time of our arrival the lake was very low leaving us no access to fish or kayak from property. We ventured out to Lake Livingston State Park for activities. With that being said we barely got the kids past the game room for majority of trip. They had a blast. Please be aware it is separate from house in terms of entrance. Separate doorway not accessible from inside the house. There are multiple levels of stairs so a lot of tripping up and down. We didn’t mind but some might. Be aware there aren’t a lot of family restaurants nearby so we cooked a lot for kids. Absolutely the only thing I would say is that like most places, pots and pans desperately needed replacing. We purchased some to get by. The kids spent nights out by fire pit making s’mores playing zombies and having a great time. Also, there is no hot tub but just a jacuzzi tub in master bath. Big difference and one we had been looking forward to. However, wasn’t a dealbreaker and being spring break you can’t just do a reset. If the lake water had been up we would have been extremely satisfied. Dean is a very nice host and very nice to offer is home out. Hope to visit again!

Great place!

Great Value. Location on water is excellent. It was in a canal, shallow and soft bed to walk and play on for the kids. Plus it was calmer than the main lake, but still super-close to main lake. Yard was smaller than expected, but really didn't matter when we were in the water all day. Great sunrise views. Beds were super comfortable. Plenty of space for large group to gather to eat or play games. House and neighborhood are older, but that really didn't factor in much, only on setting expectations. Easy to get to. Owner was very responsive to questions and clear on instructions. Great house! Thanks Dean!

We had a great weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The house had plenty of space for our little ones to play, and it had everything we needed. The only slight downside was the lake was a bit low due to the drought so we didn't get to fish from the dock or kayak. We we likely stay again when the lake is a bit higher. Thank you!

Quick Weekend Getaway

We really loved the house! The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The extra room downstairs is perfect if you have teenage kids. They can just hang down there. The lake water was low but it was kind of nice because the younger kids could reach. Will definitely plan another weekend trip and stay here.

Mini Vaca

What a perfect place for a get away! I wanted to pack up the home and lake to bring it back with us. Dean was great with communicating with us, and we loved the space and the neighbors!! They had the sweetest Great Danes and they let us fish on their property since the lake was too low by our dock. We went with a friend family and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The first day there, we rarely even saw the kids. They enjoyed every inch of the game room! The kids did not sleep in there. I had read past reviews that said there was no access through the house to the room, so we decide to bring an air mattress for the boys, and the girls got a room. The livingroom was PLENTY big for 2 air mattresses if we would have had them! Bottom line, this was a great place to stay. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Nice lake house

The homes in the neighborhood were really close together, but the house was very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, with the drought, the lake was low and we were unable to bring the boat up to the dock. I've lived on Lake Conroe before, so we were familiar with the onslaught of midges that come through the door each time it's opened. I would suggest putting a couple of bug zappers in the yard to redirect them there. Some will still get in, but it won't look like a bug version of the Alfred Hitchcock's movie, The Birds.

Prom Weekend

We booked Bluewater for an after prom weekend. We had 6 teens and 2 moms in our group and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the bunk room and had a blast with the kayaks. I was not familiar with Lake Livingston at all but learned that this was the rougher side of the lake. The ocean like waves did not deter our kids from jumping in. They all said it was the best weekend ever.
