"What a wonderful introduction to Croatia. The apartment is beautiful. Better than the pictures. It is quaint, clean, perfectly located and the walls and restaurants are just outside. It’s a short walk from two fortress gates. There are stairs, but that’s old world Europe. "

"Apartment is in an excellent location and not too many stairs to tackle, which is an added bonus. Our Host Zeljka was very nice. She met us at Pile gate and helped in hauling our luggage to the apartment. Apartment was very clean and added bonus was laundry facility. It helped us in drying our wet jackets and shoes. Overall an excellent stay."

"The location was excellent for exploring Dubrovnik, just outside the Pile Gate, steps to the Fortress steps and a small beach for swimming. The restaurant Dubrovka, very close, was really good. The third bedroom is a firm “futon” and o Lu suitable for one. The apt has two full baths upstairs and a half bath downstairs which was not expected."

"The location is fabulous. From the balcony you can see the sea and the people entering the old town. The 60 steps/stairs to the apartment were challenging for my 83 y/o mother but the view was rewarding. Beds were firm and kitchen was small but had everything needed to cook a meal. A/C was cool and in every room. Great stay!"

"The Chill-Out apartment was perfect for a one night stay while visiting Dubrovnik. The team was very responsive and helpful as we tried to drive into the area and find the apartment. Note: The Expedia listing says there is parking, but they have very limited parking. You must reach out to them to see if it's open BEFORE you reserve or you'll end up with no parking. "It was ok. Location was decent. About 45 min walk from the old town or 14.00 Uber ride. Quite a few restaurants nearby. Shower pressure was good, had laundry which we needed. Unfortunately not the cleanest. Lots of hair all over the bathroom floor and around any furniture etc."

"Our apartment was perfect: very clean inside, two bathrooms, everything worked perfect, beds very comfortable, inside the ancient walls and easy to get to everything. The only minor issues were first entering the steps up were dirty and then the door lock was fussy. But then walking in was perfect and I have no problem giving 5 stars."
