At the guesthouse we received one of the best meals we ever had, so special and so well made! Finally, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the common dining room is quite interesting and very cozy. Although the guesthouse is off the beaten path, it is worth the drive, and it is actually only 20 minutes...

"Staff could not be anymore polite or helpful. Room 107 spacious and clean. Hotel nice and tidy. We did not use gym or spa however nice to have available."

"The hotel was okay for a short stay, but it felt quite outdated and could use some renovations. There was no air conditioning, which made the room uncomfortable at times. The staff was generally polite, but not particularly welcoming or friendly. The breakfast was disappointing, with limited options and average quality. Overall, it was manageable for a night or two, but I would probably look at other options before staying here again."

"We had a lovely stay at Vila Alpina. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfy and there was plenty of parking. The communal outdoor space was really nice. The Vila is a short walk to the lake and the nearest restaurants, and about a 25 minute walk round to the larger town centre. The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do."

"I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. We had the only car in the parking lot. We made our way up to the front door and had to find out where the light switches were. We fell on the steps . DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. We walked around the hotel...

"We had a great one night stay here. The property is beautiful and suite was very clean and comfortable. The owner was lovely and provided great restaurant recommendations. We wished we could’ve stayed longer but a wonderful place to stay if you find yourself in the area."

"The surrounding area is very beautiful and the hotel looks very nice inside and outside. Bohinj is a lot nicer than Bled. Our room was a decent size. However, it was let down by a lack of practicality. E.g, there’s insufficient wardrobe and drawer space for two guests. There’s nowhere to open and store your luggage. In the bathroom, there aren’t any shelves or places to put your toiletries and no hooks to hang towels. They don’t have proper air conditioning, so I expect it gets extremely hot...

"We arrived at the hotel and everything looked fine at first—until we entered our room. Instead of proper beds, we found a broken air mattress and a small bent metal folding bed. The air conditioning wasn’t working either. The owner insisted that this room was an “upgrade.” After we complained, he moved us to another room, but that one didn’t even have a private bathroom or shower, which was not what we had booked. "This hotel had the best AC of the 5 hotels we stayed at on our trip. They also had a ton of hooks to hang items on in addition to the typical closet hangers. The breakfast was fantastic. Ebikes were able to be parked and charged in the lobby overnight."
