Gîte de Kerporho, Country House and Family Farm!

This part of the renovated farmhouse is perfect for a peaceful stay in nature: countryside, forest, calm, animals... The central geographical location allows many visits. Lorient, Vannes and Pontivy are half an hour away, as well as the beaches of La Trinité sur Mer or Carnac. Even closer you can discover Auray or the ria of Etel; the national forest of Camors is accessible on foot or by bike.

The accommodation
The house has a bright and functional living room-kitchen, with a wood stove, and above it a mezzanine with a futon (traditional Japanese bed with a very firm mattress and bed base) for two people (140x200). On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140x200) and a toddler bed, the other with a bunk bed+trundle (90x200) and a half-height bed (90x190), as well as a bathroom and toilet. The house can accommodate up to 8 people (6 adults maximum but comfortable for 4 adults and 4 children: an extra charge of 5€ per night and per additional person will be requested beyond six guests). Sheets and towels are not provided (except for stays of at least six nights), but can be provided on request and with an extra charge (10€ per person).
The accommodation also benefits from a terrace and a private enclosed garden.
We have chosen a solar water heater and individual sanitation for which the use of the most natural products possible is recommended.

Other remarks
Your children will be able to enjoy our children's outdoor games (under your responsibility), and we will be delighted to show you our mini family farm! We breed rustic Breton breeds with passion: Landes de Bretagne sheep, Fossés goats, Coucous de Rennes hens.
We live next door but we have a busy life, and will respect your tranquility and privacy! In case of any question, need or desire to visit our small sheepfold we will make ourselves available as far as possible after a phone call.
You may be visited by our cats, Grigri and Tiza: they are very thieves, it is better to avoid them at all costs that they come to your house!
Nikita, a Fila dog from Sao Miguel is our faithful guardian and companion (but she does not have access to the garden of the cottage). Due to its presence as well as that of the other animals in our family, we cannot accept your pets.

On a more practical side, the accommodations are to be returned in the condition in which you found it: if you do not wish to do the cleaning we can take care of it, the rate is 30€ (cleaning fee systematically requested from workers, as well as a cleaning deposit of 60€, we thank you for your understanding). Indeed, we do not apply automatic cleaning fees when booking, which leaves you the choice! This cleaning fee may be requested if the inventory of fixtures at the time of your departure does not correspond to the condition of the accommodation at the time of your arrival.

Additional rules:

Old farmhouse: daily ventilation (opening the windows wide, upstairs and especially downstairs) required.
Electricity consumption contract in case of long-term rental (one month or more).
