"This is one of those hotels that you almost don't want to talk about for fear of it becoming too popular. The owners are very friendly and it feels like being a guest in a private home with staff to take care of everything for you."

"Yes, very clean they organized and cleaned our room multiple times a day. They could’ve had more restaurants open. Some music down at the pool would’ve been nice. Apparently we went during their lowest season and it was only about 5 to 10% occupied so it was pretty quiet. There was a minor construction that disrupted our afternoon one day with some very loud pressure washers. It’d be nice if they had a club with music and dance floor . but they did upgrade us when we got there to a better room...

"I spent two days here and it was unlike any other lodge/hotel I’ve been to before. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada. Pura vida!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the beach bungalows during our honeymoon! The grounds are beautiful, quiet and peaceful, all while being in a great area to walk anywhere in Tamarindo. We felt well taken care of by the staff and really felt like it was our only little world away from the chaos. We even got a special little message in our bungalow for our honeymoon which was such a nice personal touch. We had wonderful neighbours while staying. "We had a beautiful 3 days at Capitán Suizo! It was clean, comfortable, and the food was delicious! But the most amazing part was definitely the staff - they were attentive, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond.
