"We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. "Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. "Endroit magnifique mais malheureusement peut entretenu. Rideaux, divans, literies, beurk ! J’ai jamais vu autant de fourmis dans une propriété. Au moins une centaine sont sorties de la douche à l’étage de l’entrée. Il y en avait à l’étage supérieur également, dans le lit et partout sur le plancher. Gros gros gros ménage et entretien a faire. "

"The property is in an excellent location with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable for our family. We spent a lot of time on the patio and the pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. Dave was very helpful and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend! "

"The owner, chef, and ladies made our stay here for my birthday quite special, with champagne, towel art- absolutely amazing!! The monkeys that live here- 2 families- are a hoot! Now I will say they are loud, lots of banging at night, dropping things on the roof. You get used to it, but if you are light sleeper like myself, highly recommend using earplugs and a sleep mask. I would wake up, and think, oh that’s a monkey, and g back to sleep. Elmer the chef made us dinner twice, all delicious food!...

"We loved our stay at SoulShine! The accommodations were perfect, the grounds and pool are beautiful, and the staff is amazing. The beach is a short walk away and is great for swimming and surfing, and the sand is so soft. We highly recommend Soul Shine and would definitely return. "

"I had Mountain Bike race in the area and the hotel was near the race exit. Service is too good that they provided breakfast the night before as breakfast starts at 7:30am and the race started at 5:30am. There are hammocks to relax after race."
