Casa Pelicano is just a 2 minute walk to the beach and went through a full renovation process where everything is brand new with fantastic and pleasurable design. We wanted to elevate this historic and iconic property to the elegance and place it deserves offering our guests a dream stay. The property is at the tip of a Peninsula where you can enjoy 300 degrees views to Brasilito Beach, Conchal and Flamingo. Also you can walk downstairs and feel the sand of Playa Flamingo. It's an ideal house to rent between 1 to 3 families, 3-4 couples or simply among friends. It has 4 bedrooms each with a complete bathroom and there's also a complete bathroom for visitors. Flamingo Beach is a lovely peaceful town perfect to relax, dine, watch animals, boat trips and tour to other close by beaches, etc. We have everyday maid service for your best comfort. The property has an area of 17,000 sq ft. which brings you privacy and a lot of enjoyment.

At Casa Pelicano we understand Internet is VERY important for our lives. That is why it's equipped with a robust internet network throughout the house powered by fiber optic. Our network can connect 300 users at the same time. This way everybody can have their meetings without interruptions and be connected with your work, school and loved ones every time you desire.

Please bring your own snorkeling equipment as there is a fabulous snorkeling spot just below the house. Let yourself explore a world of wonderful biodiversity just down the steps.

The views were even more breathtaking than the photos, which is rare and such a treat. We were a little concerned seeing forecasts in the 95 to 100 degree range, but the sea breeze made it feel absolutely perfect the entire time.The layout of the home is fantastic, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The property was very clean and well maintained, and everything felt comfortable and easy from the moment we arrived.One of the highlights was the option to rent a golf cart. It made getting around town incredibly convenient and added to the overall experience. There is also easy access to the beach. It is a short walk, though a bit steep, so we highly recommend using the golf cart.They offer daily cleaning, which was a huge bonus. Reymondo was truly exceptional. He was warm, personable, and incredibly helpful, always available when needed but never intrusive. He represented the property so well and made our stay even more enjoyable.We would highly recommend this home. It is a very special place, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Our entire family loved the week at Max’s property! Beautiful with amazing ocean views from the deck, pool, and hot tub. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable with amazing views. Reynoldo was a huge help cleaning and caring for the property. Max was very responsive and helped line up most of our activities. Truly a magical vacation. Highly recommend!

What a Life!

This property was nothing short of amazing! From the 300 degree ocean views from inside and outside this house off the rocky peninsula, the beautiful pools and decks, the amazing Flamingo beach steps away, snorkeling around the rocks, surfing and fishing nearby, a fabulous housekeeper in Reynaldo on site, a very responsive host in Max, and an unbelievable Chef Dania available to complete our perfect dream vacation. It’s no wonder why Chef Dania told our three family group of 16 that this house was her favorite “office”. Thank you Max! Pura Vida

Beautiful home in an amazing location

This home is a treat to stay at. The layout and outdoor living area was perfect for our large family of 11. The kids loved the large bunk beds and everyone enjoyed sunsets from the pool deck. We hope to return!

Perfect Getaway

Everything we had hoped for and more. Our recent stay at this beautiful beach house was absolutely unforgettable! Stunning ocean and sunset views that greeted us from every room. The house itself is spacious, modern, and very well appointed. The large open-plan living area made it easy to spend time together, whether we were cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, lounging on the comfy sofas, or dining with a view of the ocean. The outdoor patio was perfect for watching the sunset each evening while listening to the waves crash. The host was friendly and communicative, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommended and hope to visit again soon.

Flamingo Beach Casa Pelicanos

Great stay with Max and Renaldo at a fantastic location with easy walking access to flamingo beach. There were nine of us of all different ages. Max was a fantastic host and helped schedule a bunch of activities. Amazibg vacation. And views. Casa Pelicano delivers.

Great stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Pelicano! The view can't be beaten, the house is very pretty, the pool is incredible, and you are a short walk or golf cart ride away from everything you need. Although we enjoyed the house and pool quite a bit, the real stars of the stay were Reynaldo and Chef Dania. Reynaldo is an incredibly kind man who kept everything so clean and organized. We looked forward to seeing his smile every day! He is such a treasure! We also hired Chef Dania for several meals. Not only is she an extraordinary chef (we loved everything she cooked for us), she went out of her way to make our holiday a special one. When we needed a fan, she offered to shop for us and then brought the fan to us. When my father's glasses broke, she gave us a screwdriver to fix the glasses and then later showed up with a pair of reading glasses donated by her husband. She even baked a pie (or two) for my father! We would have been a bit stuck without her help (our transportation was limited by only having a golf cart), and our holiday would have gone much differently without her generosity. We've traveled quite a bit and have met some really wonderful people, but Dania tops them all! Do not hesitate to hire her! She is one of a kind. And as far as staying at Casa Pelicano, it is a very peaceful and beautiful place to be! Just an FYI that the only road open to the house is the beach road. It has MAJOR potholes--get an SUV to best manage the drive. Pura vida!

Fabulous House

The house and the views are amazing. We loved the location. The house manager is also wonderful and keeps the property in mint condition. Beware - there were major storms in the area prior to arrival so two of the roads leading to property were unusable but were able to access the property through the road on Flamingo beach. I do recommend an SUV to access the property until the roads are repaired. We were there to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary and everyone had so much fun. My son loved the beach and we brought in the private chef Max recommended and he was amazing. You will not regret staying at this house. The views are spectacular!

Fantastic Home!!!

Gorgeous, spacious, very clean! Location is dreamy! You won’t find a place quite like it in the area. Max and Reynaldo helped make our stay fantastic! From having our groceries in the room, to getting our golf cart rented, doing our laundry, recommending a chef to come prepare breakfast a couple of mornings, and keeping the place immaculate…we would highly recommend staying at Casa Pelicano!! A trip we won’t forget!

Spectacular in every way

Casa Pelicans is a one of a kind special place. From our first inquiry to the end of our stay, both Max and the on site Renaldo can’t do enough to make your stay perfect. The home itself and its incredible location can’t be beat. We loved every minute, from the 3 year old to the 75 year olds. And Playa Flamingo, easily accessed from the house, is a fabulous beach with great restaurants and activities nearby. Thank you, Max and Reynaldo, for the best vacation ever!

Great for first timers to Costa Rica

This home was immaculate, plenty of relaxing spaces, and the location was phenomenal. No doubt that this made our first trip to CR completely restful and enjoyable. Despite having 8 adults in the house, the home and property were large enough for everyone to have their own space to relax and enjoy the view. The location is better than we expected in that you have easy access to the beach (less than 2 mins walk from front door to sand), yet away from the crowd and other businesses. We felt isolated (in a good way) and felt like we had the area to ourselves. The sunsets by the pool were awe inspiring and was enjoyable every single evening. This was our first time to CR and the owner Max was very helpful in providing recommendations on everything from Restaurants, excursions, in-home massage and more. It was an added benefit staying less than 45 mins drive to some amazing places within the region that gives you a taste of what CR has to offer. You can spend the entire week here and feel like you got the entire CR experience. I understand new pictures of the property will be posted soon (if not already by the time you read this), but they will still not do it justice. All these other 5-star reviews got it right and you'll have to stay here to truly believe it.

Fabulous vacation!

We had an incredible experience at Casa Pelicano. The house was beyond our expectations with its beauty, space, patio, and sunsets. The beach was super easy access and never very crowded. We had amazing meals and would highly recommend Flamingo Foods, Chef Dania, and Road Less Traveled for in home meals. Reynaldo was so helpful and wonderful to have around. Max made our trip run so smoothly with arranged rides from the airport, golf cart rental, excursion planning, grocery shopping, and always checked in with us to see if we needed anything. This was one of the best family vacations we've had and we hope to be back soon!

Amazing home

We had a group of 9 across 2 families with 4 adults and 5 kids ages 16-21. Pictures on VRBO do not even capture 10% of how amazing the property is. We were speechless when we walked in the first time- the beauty of the outdoor space with 300 degree views of the Pacific were fantastic. The way the house is settled on the property was so well done- doing dishes overlooking the pool and then the ocean was beautiful. The accommodations were perfect for our group-4 boys stayed in the bunk room that had a terrific set up with 4 comfortable double beds that didn’t feel like bunk beds at all. Our one girl had her own room/bathroom and each adult couple had their own room. The beds were perfectly comfortable, the bathrooms were luxurious, The icing on the top of our stay was Reynaldo- the caretaker of the home. He is the kindest man who keeps the house spotless (indoor and out), changing sheets mid stay- providing clean towels, and doing our laundry. A couple times during our stay he made us a treat (delicious guacamole or fresh orange juice) but generally it was so nice to have a warm smile greet us at the end of each day. He was completely unobtrusive and cleaned the home around our schedule. It was so nice to come home to clean rooms, and folded laundry waiting for us. We went to several surrounding beaches (in the golf carts Max had arranged for us). Playa Flamingo was our favorite by far and we were so glad that is where we stayed.

Perfect Family Villa

Our family of eight stayed at Casa Pelicano for a family wedding that was held in the area. The home, grounds and location exceeded our expectations. Also superb was the thoughtful communication by Max (before and during our stay) as well as the caretaking by Renaldo- he kept every area of the villa and grounds spotless without being the slightest bit intrusive. The view is truly spectacular and we spent many hours enjoying the pool and view. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a little market a short golf cart drive away that provided everything we needed to enjoy meals on the veranda. We also had a few meals out and highly recommend The Surf Box and Coco Loco. The beach is lovely and can be reached during low tide via some 'rustic' cement steps across the street from the villa. One unexpected benefit we found of being located high above the beach was the blissful lack of mosquitoes (which were plentiful at the homes of friends of ours who were directly on the beach). It was a memorable stay and would love to return!

Such an unforgettable property!

We traveled to Playa Flamingo with our extended family which included 5 children ages 15-8yo. Casa Pelicano was a perfect rental accommodation for our party of 10. You will feel blown away by this house! It was gorgeous, impeccable, spacious. But you will never get over the view! Then on top of it all it comes with the service of Maximiliano as the property manager, and Reynoldo as the (garage apt live-in) house manager. Max helped us to rent golf carts which are needed to reach most restaurants, beaches, stores. He also provided vendor recommendations for our excursions. And we tried many of the restaurant recs from him as well. Reynoldo is a hard working and calming presence as he maintains the property, most of the time without you realizing he’s been there. During his day off, we felt lost without him! If you have never been to CR, then you should know how joyful the Costa Ricans are. What we liked about this area, Playa Flamingo, is that you are not on a resort, where you never see much of the country. Playa Flamingo is like a lazy surf town, that seems like a secret destination that most tourists aren’t aware of. And from there we were able to reach other areas- Playa Brasilito (Don’t miss Patagonia Del Mar), Potrero, etc. We truly hope to return to CR, and specifically Casa Pelicano again soon. We are just getting to know the area, and there’s so much more to explore.

Fantastic house and amazing views!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Casa Flamingo in Guanacaste! We stayed here with another family and the home easily accommodated all 11 of us. The onsite butler kept the home very clean, sweeping up sand and mopping floors inside and out. It sits up overlooking the ocean on almost every side of the house giving magnificent views. It is a very short walk down to the beach where you can pick your spot easily and there are vendors willing to help set up a tent and chairs, jet skis, massage tables and drinks. While we ventured off property we felt great about leaving our things behind with a huge gate and walls surrounding the house. We rented to 2 golf carts which were waiting on us upon arrival thanks to our property manager, Max. Max is very responsive and helped us set up our own chefs for any amount of meals you’d choose. Any questions we had, Max was quick to answer for us. We loved the house and our trip to Costa Rica and we would definitely be back to stay at Casa Flamingo!

Incredible place!

We travel often with our kids and have stayed in a number of VRBO homes - Casa Pelicano is the most incredible place we have ever stayed! The house and location are stunning, the access to beautiful Playa Flamingo is easy, and the service from Max and Reynaldo was amazing. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable! We hope to be back soon.
