"They tell you that you are allowed three waters a day. And then they show you the water that’s in the lobby. That’s not the water that you’re allowed to drink for free. So then when you go to check out, they charge you for all the waters you take."

"My original accommodation booking was at another property but the host had to cancel so I booked this one instead and I am so glad I did. The location was a five-minute walk from the city centre and close to all amenities including three restaurants right beside us. The daily breakfast was wonderfully provided with many local dishes being served. The room was cleaned daily (which I was not expecting). Serena and Paola were exceptional hosts and I think this is one of the best experiences...

"What a lovely find. Firstly the excellent Aldo and his staff. Friendly and efficient. Always willing to go the extra mile and nothing too much trouble. Need something and you'll get an immediate response. A lovely fella. The rooms were perfect for us. Tucked in a quiet back street in the old city. Quiet. "The hotel was extremely dog friendly, which was a relief for me. When you’re traveling with your service pet and you’re constantly being questioned overseas if it’s actually a service pet or if you have a lap dog it becomes anxious making all the time. So, when I walk into a beautiful hotel that welcomes you with a smile and welcomed your pet with a smile it’s such a relief!!! Thank you for the wonderful stay."

"The owner was fabulous with helping us navigate our stay and the staff was great. Breakfast was fabulous. The pool was great. Centrally located to everything we needed. We got lucky with parking but parking is an issue throughout Italy. It would be nice to have air conditioning because we couldn't keep the windows open due to foot traffic noise. great price point and lovely room. bathroom was large enough for two people to get ready. we really liked it."

"The best location you can get in Lecce. Steps from the centro historico, quiet even though it's on a relatively busy street, with easy, gated parking right in front of the Dimora. A beautiful old converted mansion. The breakfasts were tasty, plentiful, and the service was great. If you like staying in a city center, this is a great choice, and with the easy parking, coming and going is a snap. The room wasn't large, but it had a lovely balcony and was bright and airy. We'll stay there again."
