Without its exceptional setting, I would struggle to rate this hotel as even a four-star property. Management should focus on service quality to match the location."

"The check in process was smooth and front desk staff was helpful. My room was clean and came with a free bottle of water. The air conditioning worked very well. The hotel has a pool and outdoor bar. Food at the bar was just okay. It was difficult to get Ubers from Carvoeiro to Portimao and Praia da Rocha, so keep that in mind if that’s where you’re planning to spend most of your time."

"Incredible location! Steps away from the beach, incredible cliffs, walking trails, and many restaurants. Breakfast was incredible, much better than the standard continental. The pool was great for super hot afternoons when we didn’t feel like walking around. If you have a car be prepared to park a few blocks away. "Really classy and calm, a resort for people who dont want the hustle and bustle of all inclusives. Excellent food, healthy and plenty of choice for vegetarians too. Love the proximity to the beach. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and the living area and kitchen were so useful. Highly recommend, we will definitely come back.
