"My daughter and I decided to have a few nights away and as we had the sun on our side for the week we decided to stay in the UK. We came across this hotel and although expensive we decided we weren't paying for flights and booked two nights. How very special from the moment we arrived and had our car parked for us. "The hotel was lovely and staff very welcoming. We had a cozy room, which was exactly that, small and cozy but had lovely linen, air conditioning, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities and copious amounts of hot water. A nice addition was a small fridge. We didn’t plan to spent our days inside so it was perfect. It is a prefect base to explore the lovely town of Christchurch and local areas. We were lucky enough to stay in the spacious Victoria Suite, which had an amazing bathroom and enjoyed wonderful views of the sea. We also had our own private balcony. "We booked a hotel rather than a just an apartment or room as we were expecting a serviced hotel as a treat and paid accordingly. There is no reception, no bar and no catering other than at the neighbouring property, just a 4 digit number supposedly to open the front door and room, it didn’t allow access to the room, which caused some anxiety. Room was okay although the wooden blinds let light around the edges, and with a security light blazing all-night directly at our room (303), it was difficult to sleep. Room was clean and tidy but no free bottled water, only limited tea & coffee. Full English breakfast, both vegan and meat, were very nice. "No breakfast available despite being listed as such. Previous reviews mention staff but there were none. Room was fairly clean and comfortable. Entry via key code which means the same code for the main door and the room door - has someone unlock my room when I was in it. Not very safe and very poor for the money. Would not recommend. "
