"Clean and quiet."

"We had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The staff who cleaned were wonderful most staff were very kind and greeted us in yhe halls. The issue we had was the air-conditioning was not working and nothing was done. The room was so humid I could not get my hair or makeup right for the wedding we were there to attend. A staff at the front desk said to open the sliding glass door to let the night cool breeze in the problem is there is no screens and bugs can get in the room and the balcony...

"A++ For using the hotel for a convention (not SDCC) the hotel was perfect for what I needed. The location was great as the walk was only 10-12min walk from the hotel to the convention center, and the selection of restaurants and bars is plentiful in the area. though be warned that if you are a light sleeper, the evening can get a bit rowdy from 8pm-2am but the hotel provides soft earplugs to help the sleep. "Pros The hotel was clean, organized and welcoming. The location was the best part. Right next to the zoo, balboa park, and walking distance to restaurants. I liked the room separation for bedtime. Cons: Parking - it wasn’t clearly stated in posting that it would be $50 a night for self park and $70 for valet. The drive way for self park is intense. It is a very tight and windy path. There were A LOT of scratches on the sides of people hitting their cars against and I felt dizzy doing that...
