Perched high up on pilings, Birds Nest welcomes both large and small famalies. Rent our sister property Bay Watch together with Bird's Nest for groups as large as 13. Bay and island views from the top observation deck. This cozy 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment shares location with it's sister property Bay Watch. Please note front stairs are shared. Perfect for 2 - 6 people as futons can be converted into sleeping space. This is the perfect get away from it all location. Little Gasparilla Island is accessed by BOAT ONLY. Schedule the water taxi and float over to paradise. The beach is a short walk away. No grocery stores or restaurants on island. Don't you deserve a break from life's hectic pace? Come and unwind, unplug, and get back to basics...we are happy to help you plan out the details. Great fishing on the Bay or Gulf. Outstanding sunsets. Spectacular shelling. All of this on a PRIVATE ISLAND. Pets are WELCOME too

We cannot say enough about how wonderful our recent 2 week stay was on LGI!!! This property is in an excellent location. It was spotless on our arrival. Pretty much everything that we needed was available. We hope to come back next year!!!

The property was conveniently located right by dock 44. We had awesome communication with the host, who was very accessible and responsive. There were plenty of towels, a fully stocked kitchen with great cooking supplies and plenty of room for us. We had a medical emergency during our visit and the on-island paramedic was quick and responsive. Help arrived swiftly from the mainland to get our loved one the medical care she needed. Would highly recommend!

The home was well prepared and clean. We found everything in working order. Had a bad storm one evening and lost Wi-Fi but that was addressed and resolved swiftly. It was very peaceful and calming just what we needed. Due to the heat wasn't prepared for the dock to feel like a walk across of the football field . Thank goodness it was a short walk to the home. Heat was brutal during our week. We meet nice neighbors and took advantage of family time. Would stay here again as she was an excellent communicator.

This rental was perfect for our Family of 4... Mom, Dad, and two boys 7 and 10. The property is right on the intercostal... easy walking distance from the Bay St Dock (#44). We brought our own boat which was great, there were lots of empty slips in mid-April. The beach is about a 10 minute walk the other direction. If you don't mind bringing your own entertainment... this is the SPOT for you! Be certain to do your research... there are no stores or restaurants on this island.

Island does require a water taxi so little planning is required but that allows for a very peaceful quiet relax to island. Host a loud day golf cart rental which was very handy to explore the island. The beach is a short walk maybe about two blocks less than five minutes. Property has a screened in porch that overlooks the Bayside which is so great for meals, etc. Property is very close so to the dock , which helps when hauling luggage.
