My family had a wonderful 4 day stay, there was plenty of room in the cabin with everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed walking our dogs in the neighborhood going to Linville Winery the leaves were so beautiful to. We will definitely be staying again.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean & the perfect size. Definitely Nanny's Cabin with it's older style & features as well as the personal touches. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in was some of the Linville Land Harbor amenties required additional fees that we were unaware of. We still enjoyed the free access to the game room! One other item to note is that due to the devastating flood, the bridge mentioned in the listing that you can use to walk from the cabin over to the park is no longer there. Otherwise, we loved our stay & appreciate the prompt communication with the owner.

Loved the location. Convenient to everything! Very cozy. The upstairs needed a light bulb but with only the 3 of us we just used the two main floor bedrooms. The river was pretty and in walking distance, we took some beautiful pictures there.

Very homey, comfortable and well-stocked

Cabin is dated but clean and comfortable. It is stocked better than any other place we have stayed. Grounds are beautiful. I would have preferred to be closer to Blowing Rock but overall, we had a great vacation.

Beautiful.

My friends and I had a great time. The view and neighborhood surrounding the home was absolutely stunning. I would definitely come back some point in the future.

Another great stay!

This is our second stay at Granny's Cabin and again it was a peaceful get-away for our 20th anniversary. The location is quiet and peaceful and easy to access (outside of the fog and mist!). Everything was as advertised and listed and we had no trouble at all. Great place and we'll be back again.

Fishing Trip

Entry is easy with a combo lock - no key to lose. cabin not only looked clean - it smelled clean! Owner arranged for fishing permits with the HOA so that we could fish on property. They even had little hotel style soaps/shampoos/conditioners. One of the nicest VRBO stays we’ve had.

The Stream is right behind the property

Dated house yet clean. quiet neighborhood with a view to the lake and the dam. Heat is done by baseboards and they were efective. Ceiling fans in all the rooms. Nice for a few days to see the peak color changes in the mountains.

I thought the property was alright. It wasn't spectacular but it wasn't horrible either. I knew what I was expecting though. I didn't realize there was no air conditioning. Im sure its in the description and I missed it. I clean houses for a living as well as air b n bs. So I will never give 5 stars unless it meets my level of clean. Alltogether I would definitely stay there again.The host was very kind.

Great stay

Stayed for a weekend to take my kids snow tubing for Christmas. Very close to the attraction and close enough drive to town for food, movies, other attractions. Loved the upstairs room for my 4 young children. Great bed arrangement. Heat in the house works too well haha. Very cozy, inviting, home thats just as described in listening. Awesome communication with host whenever we had any questions and even prior to the trip during the booking process. Would definitely stay again and make it a family tradition. Definitely true about 4 wheel drive in the winter. There was a light snow when we came up and the road was icy after. The main roads were salted and immediately cleared but the roads in the neighborhood are tight and have a few small hills and places where the sun doesnt melt the snow/ice so it can get slippery.

Perfect location

Friends weekend.

Six friends here for the Wolly worm festival and sightseeing weekend. Wonderful place to stay. Communication with owner was excellent. Accommodations had everything we needed. Thanks again for allowing us to stay!!

My stay at Linville Falls

Really liked the cabin and the surroundings especially the waterfall and stream and all of the grounds at the end of the property, cabin could have been cleaner was very dusty and smelled musty and damp especially up in the loft. Would definitely stay there again if those things were corrected!

Sweet Cottage

Everything was fine at this property except the TV did not work and there was quite a bit of construction traffic on our little street while we were there. Land Harbor is a nice community , but it is not close to anything. In order to find a decent restaurant or grocery store, you must drive 10 miles to Banner Elk.

Peaceful Getaway

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was stocked well and had everything we needed. It is close to a dam overflow area which provided a soothing background sound, especially when sleeping. It was a peaceful getaway.
