Unique private Forest mountain Getaway

This Private mountain getaway is the perfect mix of modern and traditional. Enjoy the amazing scenery and spacious area outdoors, and The new appliances and modern amenities indoors. The Cabin is walking distance to the village center and has a ton of one of a kind charm, Including the biggest contemporary art collection on the mountain.
The space
This house truly is one of a kind from the glass kitchen walls to the 3D tiles in the bathroom. It is Furnished with modern and mid-century modern unique pieces. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms are all open to keep socializing on going. The large front deck and deep set back yard make it perfect for relaxing, and the cozy private backyard and greenhouse are fun too. The master bedroom has a tempurpedic mattress and full bathroom with whirlpool tub and heated tiles floors. The kitchen has all new appliances and is stocked with all the usual kitchen supplies and there is complimentary coffee.
Guest access
The entire home and yard are accessible The only areas off limits are the master closet and the bottom level area under the house.
Other things to note
NOTE: This house is Home to a small dog, Please remember you are visiting her home not the other way around. I do my best to clean up dog hair but with dogs its usually an uphill battle so if it is concern for you (eg: allergies, black clothing connoisseur), please do not book this house.

THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. Keep noise to a minimum when outside and in the evenings. If you’re are too loud for the neighbors, you Will be asked to leave.


WINTER VISITORS!!!
The mountain can get snow from Nov-May depending on the year.
During this time the roads may be covered in snow or ice and be closed or only accessible to vehicles equipped with with 4x4 and snow tires or with chains/cables.
Chains can be purchased on the way up in Frazier Park, however I cant guarantee that they will have the correct size/type for every vehicle.
So if it is a possibility that snow / ice will be on the road during your visit you may want to plan accordingly and buy before hand.
When it snows here, our great road team plows and places cinder on the road clearing it for travel however it does make a berm
(mound of snow at side of rd.) which can block/ make it hard to enter driveway safely.
I will try to shovel the path to make this easier when possible. However it is not always possible so always take care to drive carefully as to not damage your vehicle.
You and Your Guests safety is of paramount concern so please take all precautions when coming up here during the cold months. Even when roads are clear drive with Caution!!!
Due to the ever changing winter weather/road conditions
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO MAKE IT UP TO THE CABIN AND HAVE TO CANCEL THE DAY OF YOUR VISIT.
In order to avoid this please make sure to check weather/ road conditions before you head up.

We stayed two nights in Joshua's house, it is full of interesting objects and art, and had everything we needed to relax at the end of a long road trip. We enjoyed the board games and the teens loved the cool retro arcade games. It is a very comfortable space, and a short distance to a yummy bakery and decent general store. Joshua was very fast to respond and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. smooth and enjoyable. Thanks.

Our son lives in PMC and is battling cancer. We rented this cabin to help him recover. He has no A/C and a BUNCH of stairs, so this eclectic and tranquil home provided a nice respite for him and our family--who popped in for a surprise long weekend! The art is SPECTACULAR! Each room feels thoughtfully curated. And let's not forget the master tub, which everyone else seemed to enjoy so much that I never got a chance to try it during our two-week stay! It's that good.

My kids and I stayed and it was an amazing time. The house is awesome. He had all the information we needed in a binder that was very thought out and detailed. There were games and movies. The backyard steering area is gorgeous. Thank you for opening your home and allowing us to stay.

We loved this very fun and beautifully equipped home. We loved all the unusual artwork hanging in every room. This is obviously somebody's home that they lovingly decorated with their own collection. We felt lucky to be able to share this space and enjoy all the amenities. The kitchen was very well stocked and fun to use. The front and back decks were great to hang out on. We loved the swing on the front deck. My husbands favorite part was the game room with real games to play and my favorite place was the jetted bath tub. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful and unusual home. The location was perfect, we walked to the restaurants and town area. It was very peaceful to be in the forrest and smell the trees.

We came for a quick trip for our friends 50th birthday. The house has everything you could possibly need. There is a bonus game room that was a complete surprise and tons of fun! The art throughout the home brought such an amazing vibration that it is hard to explain. Just WOW!! The location is perfect we could walk to the clubhouse, golf course, local restaurants and market. We are looking forward to coming back and staying for much longer.
