Beautiful Cozy Cabin

The Romantic Strawberry/Pine Cabin was very cozy. The windows allowed beautiful view of tall trees. The heater was a little tricky, but once I dowloaded the instructions from the web we got it figured out. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful modern cabin

This is a beautiful, open floor plan cabin (think square with no dividing walls). Three walls have sliding doors and windows for perfect views of the forest and wildlife. One corner has a large bed, another corner has a small bathroom with shower (good hot water!), another corner has a small kitchen fully equipped but only big enough for one person, and the 4th corner has decor/games. Would only recommend for 2 ppl. Biggest Pros: beauty of the cabin, seeing about 20 elk outside, only 9 mins from main shopping and restaurants. There were some kinks with the stay: this cabin is very cold! The heating unit is inadequate and you are warned not to turn it up or motor will blow. Because it’s a tall cabin, all hot air goes to the pull-down ceiling loft bed and none of it in the main floor. There was a plug in heater that didn’t work. We stayed when it was 60s and sunny. I would’ve been miserable if it were any colder outside. The only bathroom sink was badly blocked so we could only turn on faucet for a few seconds at a time. The shower conditioner wasn’t dispensing. The loft bed can only be accessed by pulling down a staircase. Not recommended for smaller children or older folks. There is a keurig but most of the pods provided were decaf. Coffee is important so I wish I had brought my own pot from home. It’s a truly beautiful property and a gem in strawberry.

Great Location - Very Private

It was a perfect location in the pines and felt very private. We enjoyed watching the elk crossing through the property on a daily basis. The furniture and bed were comfortable. Our only complaint was that the entry patio door was difficult to open and close and in need of maintenance and the non-stick cookware needs to be replaced as it is very worn.

The cutest cabin for a simple getaway

My brother and I were looking for a small cabin away from Phoenix for about a week. This studio cabin was SO cute and we loved it. We did have a little trouble in the beginning with opening the gate onto the deck, but the guest contact was so quick to respond to the issue and immediately had it fixed during our stay. Saw some wildlife as well and the place was so cutely decorated. Was a whole vibe.

Awesome location!

What a cute cabin! The wildlife was abundant! Very comfortable! We saw elk, javelina, a fox, squirrels and rabbits. At times they came right up to the cabin. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely return! Plus, it was cooler than the valley!

Quite peaceful cabin

A very nice place, quite and peaceful area. Love the 4 big glass patio doors to let the natural light in and we saw squirrels, rabbits and a bull elk from the couch.

Quiet and pleasant

Super clean property and the check in process was simple and easy. The property it’s self is so cute, there are string lights around the fire pit! Perfect for couples looking to get away, we will definitely be back.

awesome cabin!!!

i love this place! it was so nice and perfectly sset up. when we pulled into the driveway, there was a huge elk just sitting on the ground, didnt even get spooked by my car pulling in next to him! amazing greeting dont you think? this cabin was exactly as described on the website, even better. i am definately going back here, i want to stay a week or longer.... we didnt want to leave when our time was up.....we love this place.....

3 day stay to get out of Phoenix heat

Great location. Sat on front porch each morning, coffee, moose and javelina visits, cabin is just perfect size for 2 adults, maybe great with 2 kids as well as there is loft. Close to Pine/Strawberry. Cabin has all needed essentials.
