"Out of the way spot, like living as a local in an old apartment building. Small but clean and modern room. Small old style lift with room for maybe 2. Lobby is inside on the 2nd floor and additional rooms on the 3rd floor. Walking distance to the Grand Canal and Piazza UNITA d’Italia as well as the Castello, though you do have to do some stair climbing. Also close walking distance to the train station. Enjoyed the location and stay at Trieste 411."

"The property is very clean and well-cared for. The location is also excellent, and we appreciated having enough space for both of our suitcases. The staff was also very lovely. Our "issue" (and it's not a really big deal at all) is that the "Modernist" design so touted by the ads, was just really hokey, and even looked a bit cheap. The light fixtures in the room were WAY too bright, and the hallways were just a bit grim. Of course, this is very subjective."

"Checking in was easy. Just had to pay the tax fee. Was escorted to my room and demonstrated the key/fob usage while staying there. Very convenient to the main city center. Loved how I could walk to the place and things I wanted to see and dine. Room was comforting. Very clean and comfy. The only issue I had was the front door and what bothered me the most is that my bathroom door was damaged with a huge crack and was not notified about it. "
