Beautiful and spacious 3500 sq ft private home with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms located near the Boulders and Cave Creek in North Scottsdale. This property has stunning desert landscape and wildlife for a true Arizona getaway! With open desert space behind the house, you will have plenty of privacy and will truly be able to take in the breathtaking landscape and wildlife. Wildlife includes Bobcats, Coyotes, Javelina, Rabbits, Quail and Owls. View all the cacti on the property including Saguaros and Ocotillo.

Updated Kitchen and LIving Room. Sit back and enjoy the mountain and city light views, PRIVATE HEATED NEGATIVE EDGE POOL, hot tub, outdoor fire-pit and side yard with grass area and sand-pit for children to play in. The back yard also has an outdoor dining table, four chaise lounges and a bbq gas grill.

Walk thru southwestern style gates to the front door. Walking into the interior you first come to the large theatre/TV room to the right and a guest bedroom to the left. The floor plan opens up to a separate living room with flatscreen TV, fireplace and incredible views out to the back patio with Heated pool/hot tub and desert mountain views. With the two separate TV rooms it works out well for large families that need more space. Two additional bedrooms down the hall share a jack n jill bathroom. The upstairs master bedroom suite has a flatscreen tv, large closet and its own private rooftop patio with stunning mountain and city light views. Master bathroom with walk in shower and Jacuzzi tub. This property is located close to hiking trails and some of the best golf in Scottsdale.

Pool heating available at an additional charge of $100 per night of the stay. *Must notify 72 hours ahead of reservation if you would like the pool heated and it must remain on for the duration of your stay.
POOL TEMPERATURE is not guaranteed and dependent upon the ambient temperature outside.
Hot Tub should not be used by child under the age of 16 without adult in hot tub. Children under the age of 5 should never be in the hot tub.

Local Attractions: Hiking at McDowell Sonoran Preserve, Pinnacle Peak, Camelback Mountain, Cave Creek, Phoenix Mountain Preserve and Black Mountain. Tourist sites of Old Town Scottsdale, ATV Tour of the Sonoran Desert, Butterfly Wonderland, Cave Creek Western Town. Golfing within 20 minutes at TPC Scottsdale, Kierland Golf Club, Grayhawk Golf Club, Legend Trail Golf Club, Dove Valley Ranch. Restaurants close by include Blu Burger, Uncle Louies, Pizzafarro's, El Encanto, Harolds, Buffalo Chip Saloon, The Italian Daughter, Mastros, Spotted Donkey. Grocery shopping right down the street at A.J.s Fine Foods, Safeway, Sprouts Farmers Market, Fry's, Target and Walmart.

A 10 minute drive from the house to the free Ashler Hills Park!
The 17-acre park includes:

The house was nice and clean. It is a ways out of town but there is a Safeway and Target close by. The only down side was the air conditioning. The owner has control over it and would not lower it to our liking. It was very hot while we were there and it would have been nice for the temperature inside to be cooler. The bedrooms got very hot at night, even with the fans going. Also the master bedroom does not have doors on it.

House was spotlessly clean and well appointed. My only complaint would be that the thermostats were completely locked out and there was no ability to change the temperature by even a single degree. I have stayed at countless properties over many years and never have I seen a policy this restrictive.

The host Holly was amazing. Location is a little far from things but we loved it. The pool is amazing and I’ve never stayed in such a well stocked rental. We will definitely be back. Miss it already.

Kitchen well stocked; easy and responsive communication with owner. Nice outdoor space, and - as described - beautiful sunsets. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty to do nearby. My only reason for not a "10" is, in my opinion, the property, towels and bedding could use updates for the price; staircase is not conducive for older adults or carrying luggage up and down. Overall a nice stay.

The house was delightful. Clean, well equipped, beautiful grounds and pool area. Didn't use the hot tub as much as we thought we would. Spent most of our time at the table outside reading and dining and floating in the pool. Very convenient to groceries and tons of great restaurants! It was a wonderful vacation. Highly recommend this house.

Wonderful home

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Beautiful spacious interior with a great private backyard pool and patio. Lounging in the pool was a daily activity each afternoon. The sunset viewing from the patio was incredible. Hot tub was a big hit too. The interior was extremely spacious. I’d say the pictures don’t do the interior justice. It’s much larger and allows for group activities as well as those seeking some privacy. All the appliances are in very good condition and worked well. If we return to the area we would definitely stay here again. Also, Holly the host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

Great home with a few quirks

The house was open and warm. The pictures didn't do it justice. The back pool and hot tub were great. It had every kitchen appliance and tool one would need for big and small groups. The neighborhood was pleasant and good to go out walking in the mornings or evenings. A few things to consider…the master suite has no door on it so all noise travels up to the bedroom. We had hot water off and on during our stay. We had to keep relighting the boiler. We were there during thanksgiving so limited ability to get someone to fix it during our 4 night stay. Also we had to reset power in a few areas of the house. Overall we would stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay. House was a bit north but in a quiet neighborhood. Being in between Scottsdale and Cave Creek allowed is to enjoy both towns. Owner was great and responded promptly to any requests we had. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Wonderful vacation getaway!

This property was wonderful. The outdoor area was perfect, with the hot tub and pool and the sunset views were gorgeous. The house was very large and spacious and was perfect for our family of five. We have both teenagers and a ten year old son, and they all had a wonderful time. The location is also close to a lot of hiking trails and lots of golf courses, which was an added bonus. We would gladly rent this property again.

We were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful and functional relaxing atmosphere of the home, outdoor spaces, and the neighborhood. We loved the location and the ease of checking out Carefree and Cave Creek both such neat communities!

Quiet desert home with outstanding views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. The back yard view is just amazing and the view from the master balcony is to die for. We saw some of the best sunsets ever. Hot tub was appreciated. The host was great and very responsive. One of the best VRBO experiences we have had.

I found the home to be poorly managed. All furnishings and accessories should be thrown out to the dump. Cleanliness was poor, a deep clean of the place is badly needed. The carpet should be removed and replaced. The garage should be cleaned and the carpet replaced. this place is way overpriced

The homeowners were fantastic and very responsive. The home was beautiful and met all of our needs. However, the pool was not heatable and therefore was unusable because it was extremely cold.

Great place - plenty of room inside and out. Very peaceful neighborhood and back yard. Could not ask for a more relaxing place. Hot tub, outside fire pit and a beautiful pool. Kitchen stocked up very well. Close and convenient to grocery stores. Highly recommend it.

Amazing December desert getaway!

My family (including 2 teenagers) have rented a number of houses across the country and this is one of our favorites! The house is very clean and was well stocked with everything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed the elevated views of the desert while sitting in the hot tub. The sunsets were amazing at night and we enjoyed watching the hot air balloons over morning coffee. Holly was great host! She was very responsive to all of our needs. We generally do not stay at the same place twice, but we would definitely consider another stay here!
