There's only one ice machine in the entire building, and it wasn't working for my entire stay.The air conditioner was noisy, and a giant floodlight just outside my room meant the room was never fully dark, even with the curtains drawn. The staff person was less than friendly on the phone when I asked for an early check-in. Other staff people were nice, but this woman -- long black hair, big glasses, big eyelashes -- paid zero attention to people walking in and out. She was always looking down, either on her phone or working on some kind of art project. I could have walked in with grenades strapped to every inch of my body and she wouldn't have noticed. Both times I needed her attention, I had to get right up to the counter and say, "Excuse me" in order to get her attention. Just a person putting out the least effort possible to get paid.
Then, when I was at the pool, a manager was outside in a shouting argument with one of the employees, and ended up walking away shouting, "You're f'ing dumb," although he didn't use the apostrophe.
On the plus side, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
