Driftwood Cottage just Steps to the Sandy Popham Beach!

Newly renovated cottage located just steps from the sandy Maine beach! This cottage will take your breath away with spectacular sunsets and starry nights! Fall asleep to the crashing waves and ocean breeze. Located between Popham Beach State Park and Fort Popham. Formally known as Oceanview Campground and cottages. 7 miles of sandy beaches to roam. At low tide, a sandbar will appear, you will then be able to adventure out to explore Fox Island. This cottage is fully equipped with everything needed for your vacation stay.

This is 1 of 15 cottages located within the driftwood community at Popham beach. Please note this cottage is in a condo association with shared access.

Please note - Our association requires 7 night stays. Exceptions can be made to accommodate a minimum of at least a 3 night stay during April, May, June, September and October.
All guests must be 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent. This home is part of an association and rules set by the association must be adhered to. No Unit Owner shall obstruct or interfere with the rights of the other occupants or any them by unreasonable noise or otherwise. No Unit Owner shall use the Common Elements or Limited Common Elements for any activity that would obstruct or deter views, Ingress or egress by other Unit Owners or guests or invitees. Boats longer than 12 feet, motor homes, campers, trailers of any kind, tents, shacks, sheds, or other outbuildings are not allowed on the property. Storage for boats less than 12 feet, dinghies, kayaks and paddle boards shall be within the Unit Owners Limited Common Element and not obstruct the view of any other Unit owner. No trash, rubbish or other offensive materials degrading in appearance shall be allowed to exist on the Units or Common Elements excluding any area designated for trash and/or recycling by the Association.

Absolutely the perfect beach cottage for our little family. Right on the Beach and the kids 4 and 6 had a great time.

Great beaches

The location is outstanding! This particular cottage is okay. They advertise a washer, dryer, and fireplace. None of which you are allowed to use. They also said they are available for questions. The one time we emailed, we got no response. There were also dirty towels left hung up behind one of the bedroom doors when we arrived.

A little cottage with a huge view!

We were a little apprehensive after booking for 6 people. We did fine! Cottage was comfortable and adorable! Host was very responsive . Thank you for the quick delivery of the picnic table. You couldn’t get a more perfect location. We were a little confused on parking, so maybe have instructions on welcome sheet. Thanks for a great 2 weeks!

Excellent Accommodations!

I grew up coming to Popham beach with 6 siblings every Sunday from Lewiston, Maine. My mom and dad packed up the station wagon, rain or shine... this was our paradise during the 70's through the 90's. My husband and I rented on the beach when our children were young... but haven't in many years. This cottage was amazing. Clean and cozy. Everything that we needed was available. We were lucky enough to get in on a cancellation, and spent three splendid days and nights on a beautiful August weekend. Thank you for a great stay! We would love to stay here again in the future... and recommend it as a premiere and affordable stay at Popham!
