"Fantastic place to stay. The views were amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Each day a housekeeper came to empty bins and top up items. So unexpected service and was great. All amenities you need for a great stay. Town totally walkable with lovely shops and lots of history. Cathedral, heritage centre fantastic things to visit. Only negative was the stairs to the apartment but came away a lot fitter then when arrived "

The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats. "Loved our stay here - wish we could have stayed another night. We stayed in the Cabin which was so cozy & homey. The bed was comfortable & everything was clean. The owner was amazing. So kind and welcoming. Also helpful for dinner ideas. One of the favorite places we stated in Ireland!"

"This is an older hotel but it is located in a great position, close to many sights and restaurants and with a wonderful view. Staff were great, breakfast was excellent and our stay was extremely comfortable. I would recommend the hotel. Its worth paying a little more for a sea facing room."

A truly special place. Ballymaloe House Hotel combines elegant charm with warm, genuine hospitality. The rooms are beautiful, the food is outstanding—fresh, seasonal, and mostly from their own gardens—and the whole experience feels peaceful and personal. The dessert trolley is so decident, a perfect countryside escape. Can't wait to come back!
