"The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

"Great place to stay all-around - incredibly friendly and helpful front desk, welcome was very warm in nature. Apartments were in great shape and had some simple amenities to help avoid basic grocery shopping. Location was central, close to everything and walkable - not a long way to haul suitcases from parking or transit."

"This apartment is beautifully decorated, very clean and in a great location. We felt safe and secure. The extra bathroom was perfect. All the extras you supplied like dishwasher and tabs, laundry and tabs, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits were appreciated. The beds and bedding very clean and comfortable. I can't wait to come back next summer."

"Didn't eat there. Had good tea and coffee in room with a little bottle of milk in the fridge. Wonderful room, excellent shower, bath, toiletries towels and linens. Kelly at the front desk was lovely. I go back and forth from US to Scotland a couple of times a year and will definitely be back to the Balmoral."
