Large and private 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment, separate street entrance

Welcome to this spacious (1,300 sf / 120 m2) and private apartment on the second floor of a two-story building in a convenient area. Three separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms allow good privacy for your group. There is also a living room and eat-in ktichen. No parties, events, or smoking -- strictly enforced.

This is the entire second floor of a 2-story building. The first floor is a commercial space and the second floor is a residential apartment.

You can walk or drive around the neighborhood quite easily. Please note that the building does not have parking, so if you have a vehicle, you will need to find a safe and secure spot on the nearby streets to park it. Please pay attention to any posted parking restrictions (e.g. street cleaning) as we cannot be responsible for your vehicle parked on the street. Thank you.

This is a busy neighborhood with mostly working families living there. There are some restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets within walking distance.

Newark Airport (EWR) and Manhattan NYC are both accessible by public transportation from this apartment and the journeys take about 50 minutes and 1 hour and 20 minutes respectively using a combination of NJ Transit buses and trains.

Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the entry door to the building. We will send you the code to the lock box on the day of your arrival.

The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. No one will be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm) and we will not give refunds if you have issues checking in after 11:00 pm. Early check-in and late check-out are not available. The property does not have luggage storage.

Please also note that this apartment is located in an older building. Some recent guests have arrived with higher expectations than what we can provide given the age of the building. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place with access to New York City and Newark Airport (EWR), this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you.

A few things to know before you book:

To keep our homes safe and welcoming for everyone, all guests complete a quick verification before arrival — we’ll reach out by email or text with the simple steps once you’ve booked, so please complete it before you travel.

Guests are also asked to either purchase a damage waiver or leave a refundable security deposit, and to sign a short rental agreement. A valid credit or debit card is required; if you’re paying us directly by card, we’ll ask for a photo of the front and back and a signed credit card authorization form, and the name on the reservation, card, and ID should match. Please also have a valid, current government-issued ID ready — if it’s expired we won’t be able to approve the stay, and no refund applies in that case. Additional charges may apply.

WI-FI — AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE

Wi-Fi is not included in your booking. Internet access at this property is offered only as a paid add-on, so please do not plan on free Wi-Fi during your stay. If you would like Wi-Fi, message us before or during your stay and we will send you the current rate and connection details.
Guests are responsible for bagging all garbage and placing the bags in the bins outside the building, or at the curb, as instructed by the host (host will communicate with guest regarding this).

If your unit has a thermostat and the thermostat is locked, do not tamper with it or try to break open the lock. Doing so is called vandalism and is highly inappropriate. We will withhold your security deposit if you do this and possible submit for more damages depending on the situation.

Also, guests must leave the apartment in the condition they found it (e.g. no leftover food, nothing that creates a need for excessive or deep cleaning). Please wash all dishes that you use, remove food that you`ve brought in, and discard all trash. Our cleaning fee is lower than most and it covers basic cleaning tasks like washing of linens and towels, vacuuming, etc. The cleaning fee does not cover deep cleaning, excessive kitchen and bathroom cleaning, etc. Thanks for your cooperation!

If you check out late, there will be a $100 per hour fee for each hour or fraction of an hour that you stay beyond the check out time.

If you smoke, use incense, use drugs of any kind (including marijuana and cannabis) anywhere on the property including outside areas and common areas, we will charge a $300 fee. If there are damages related to smoking or drug use, we will charge fees in addition to this $300.

Abnormal Cleaning Disclosure
Guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably clean and orderly condition. Additional fees may apply for excessive or abnormal cleaning required after checkout, including garbage or trash left behind and cleaning beyond the normal scope of our standard turnover service. Any applicable charges will be assessed based on the condition of the property and the additional cleaning required.
