"Very comfortable and friendly family-run hotel, surprisingly quiet given its location. The rooms were clean and well equipped. It has an excellent restaurant, with mainly organic and / or locally sourced produce. It is well worth booking a table for delicious, well-presented food and a good selection of wines, beers and other drinks. Highly recommended."

My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers. "Christophe and Christine the property managers were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and chateaus to visit. The breakfasts each morning were incredible: fresh baked croissants and bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs made to preference. The location nestled in among the vineyards was picturesque and very quiet. The total experience far exceeded our expectations and I hope we can make a return trip."
