Penya-segats de Negril

Traveled solo for my birthday and had an absolutely amazing time! Always felt safe and the beach (located across the street with crossing assistance provided) was incredibly beautiful. Cannot wait to return!!

Check-in took over an hour as only 1 person was working the desk even though several others were there buzzing around, including the manager. He was more concerned with smiling and waving than offering to assist with getting the crowd of guests checked in. The pool closes at around 5 pm and by around 8/9pm the only bar that's open is the lobby bar, so getting a drink means it won't be done properly and you'll have to wait a while. At midday, the only restaurant that's open is down by the pool or the slides. There are several restaurants and most of them are closed during peak lunchtime?? This property is very beautiful but very poorly managed. The courteous staff is the only redemptive factor.
