Come join the fun! Slow Mo at the Purple Parrot Resort is ideal for those that want to be close to the beach but away from the crowds!

This beautiful one bedroom cottage is conveniently located near the stunning resort style swimming pool and Tiki Bar/Grill.

Imagine yourself sunbathing, listening to live music while sipping on your favorite island drink and cooling off under the cave waterfall.

This cottage has recently been stylishly renovated with a coastal theme. It is a ground level unit and parking is directly in front.

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, our unit comes with a new king size bed, two large flat screen TV’s, queen size sleeper sofa, two comfortable chairs, screened - in porch, wireless internet, cable and washer/dryer.

Perdido Key has many excellent restaurants, but, if you prefer dining in-our kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for the avid chef.

The Purple Parrot Resort is a Key West style resort located on the barrier island of Perdido Key. It’s just three minutes away from beautiful white sand beaches. In addition to the large outdoor pool with two waterfalls and island hot tub, the resort also boasts an indoor pool which is heated during the cooler months, an indoor hot tub, two saunas and a fitness center.

The resort is surrounded by amenities, including golf, swimming, world-class fishing, marina, miles of beachcombing and great restaurants.

Paradise found

Stayed here for a week trip. Very convenient to beach, food, and activities. Was missing the pool wristbands on check in. Owner very responsive and took care of it quickly. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the decoration of the condo. Has been made a favorite for next trip here!

Great place to stay.

Our family came down for my grandson‘s first birthday. The condos and the surrounding area were very clean. The pool was fantastic for a one-year-old. Everyone was very nice and we had a great time. The only thing that I saw that might need some attention are the front steps to our condo 17 . We will be recommending the Purple Parrot Resort.

Highly recommend

The property was very clean and neat. There was plenty of linen for the sofa bed as well as towels. It smelt very good when we arrived very cozy and quiet the tiki bar and the beach area. I’m sorry the pool area was very nice. Will recommend to others to stay here. Again at this property if it’s available, had a great time family in enjoyed.

Lovely Getaway

Great location for everything. Great atmosphere. Perfect setup for two people, has everything you need. Be sure to eat at the Perdido Key sports bar, great food and low prices, walking distance from resort. The best thing staying at this location was Fred, the manager of the unit. He responds quickly to all your questions and will make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The worst thing we encountered were the tenants who arrived two days after we did, and were extremely loud when they would walk in the unit above us, which is not owned by Fred. They would be up at 5:30am, pounding their feet into the floor with no regards to anybody under them, very disrespectful tenants. If it wasn't for that, it would've been the best place to stay. We will try it again, with hopes anybody else above will have some respect. The resort is very clean, pool and hot tub very nice. Don't forget to see the Blue Angels practice Tuesdays and Wednesdays, only 17 minutes away from unit, but get there early, as traffic backs up.Thanks again to Fred, a very charming place to getaway

SLO MO Getaway

We had a lovely stay at Slo Mo just before the Thanksgiving Holiday. A great place to relax with a lovely coastal decor. Everything was just perfect. The Tiki Bar is a must for great service (Breezy) and exceptional music. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Beautiful, relaxing stay!

Fred provided the most amazing stay! The unit was so clean and welcoming and my husband and I had the most relaxing weekend. Seamless process for check-in and check-out, and Fred so graciously let us check-in very early AND check-out late. He was so kind and made the entire process of booking and staying so wonderful! We highly recommend for anyone traveling to Pensacola!

Great place

This unit was perfect. Spotless clean, quality furnishings and decor. Well stocked kitchen with plenty glasses, dishes and silverware so did not need to run the dishwasher often. The screened porch and furniture was clean and we enjoyed this space early and late in the day. The owners responded timely to any inquiries.

Great for a Brief Stay

The SloMo condo was very clean and stocked with basic needs. The process was very organized and easy! The one we stayed in was lower level and the people above us were very loud. We were awakened each morning by 5-5:30 by kids jumping and running and very heavy walking. If we return to the Purple Parrot we will seek an upstairs unit. Our kids and their families stayed in other units on the property so it was nice to have our daily pool time with them.. The location seemed secure except each night they allow “outsiders” in for the pool and bar. We found this odd and less secure. We had to wear bracelets but were never checked and the outsiders were not checked either. The location is ok, but we had to drive into Pensacola or back into Alabama to go out/find other options of fun things to do. We would return for a short stay, again (our stay was 5 days but checkout is 10 am, so you lose the last day. Our kids stayed in units with 11 am checkout which at least gave them time for a nice breakfast before leaving. Overall, it was a great experience to spend time with kids and grandkids. Thank you!

Mother/Daughter trip

Perfect for my college daughter and myself. Plenty of room and we loved the beach look in the condo. Parking just outside the door. Enjoyed the beach, we drove and so close. Nothing to do with the owners of this condo but the resort pool area needs some TLC, the pool needed cleaning, but I still enjoyed it. We would rent here again if available when we come back. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with!! Great time!!
