"We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. "Room was spacious, surprisingly quiet, despite first floor near entrance,and comfortable (excellent mattress) with microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, iron/board,hairdryer---all quite adequate. However the closet bar for hangers was too low to accomodate a dress. Only a sheet and light coverlet were on the bed with no additional blanket in the room. "I liked almost everything about the place. Clean rooms, although the shower did not have much water pressure. Maybe it was just our room. Room 311. My real complaint is that my card was charged for all three rooms that I reserved before I got there. My room was cost split with someone, but we both got charged the full price. I think we have it worked out now. I will probably still stay there next year. Also the breakfast was great!"

"The Inn Keeper Kim was very gracious and accommodating. We submitted special dietary requests and she exceeded our requests. Breakfast was excellent, tasty and appealing, and Kim was inviting, friendly, and informative. Kim gets a five star rating!!!!"
