"This hotel is the back of beyond and not very pleasant.. restaurant not open for evening meals due to the heat.. no fans in the rooms so broken ones were found but were absolutely filthy .. it appeared that the ground floor of the hotel was let to the local housing team for those in need… cleaning staff were lovely and helpful as were both the front of house team but would not recommend staying here … this should be solely turned over to the local council…"

"We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. "Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

Telling my concerned partner that it was something to do with being added to marketing list for emails. When we paid for our room my partner & I expected to be able to use all the facilities described on your website. However we arrived to find the hotel full of drunken wedding guests. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June).
