"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"Real easy freindly check in. Rooms are clean and adequately appointed. It was a spacious double room, with generous size bathroom with bath tub. Its nice to have iron, ironing board, trouser press, hairdryer and fan. Unfortunately the pillows are a bit inadequate. Provided with 3 very flat, very warn pillows for a double room for two people. "Absolutely avoid at all costs - hubby and children were left without any place to stay when hosts lost booking"

"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"Hotels.com with the hotel have some payment issue. When I check in the hotel front desk staff said that i need to pay for this trip, however, I already fully paid when i booked the hotel. After check and clarified she confirmed already received my payment. And I called to Hotel.com the staff request me to pay again for the hotel and refund my previous payment with Hotel.com due to some payment issue between Hotel.com and the Hotel. But is it the issue of customer why i have to do that. Also...

"Very good room and very friendly staff. Ideal location. Parking on the road was straightforward. "

"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Ideally located for our Alton Towers trip. Lots of nice restaurants in Leek too. Apartment was very comfortable, beds comfy too with crisp white linen and towels. Good instructions for entry. Some more information about bins etc would have been good. WiFi was a bit iffy at times but didn’t hugely impact on us. Connection instructions weren’t correct but we worked it out eventually. Would consider staying again when next visiting Alton Towers. "
