"The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good with a large variety of items. The interior is aesthetically pleasing, especially the dining area is very beautiful. The setting is wonderful with a lot of green and the Teltow Kanal right along the property. Listening to the birds outside through the open window in the morning was wonderful! "So many good things to recommend about this hip hotel. Problems, however, to note: A/C struggles to keep up with serious summer heat. Plan accordingly. Free coffee service was down for four of my six days there. Bubbly water was down for three days. Noise from the street is only a problem when sirens blare. Now the good: all new, clean, functional. "It is in a great location and we dealt with a very helpful staff member named Toni who helped us find a lost passport but I still feel I should rate the stay very low because the AC was not working in our room and I alerted the staff to this issue every day for the 5 day stay and nothing was ever done about it. I spoke with other quests and many had the same issue with no effort made by the hotel to fix it that I'm aware of. The room was 26 degrees Celsius and sometimes higher. Was a very bad...

"Fantastic stay Berlin at this historic hotel that felt almost brand new. Loved all the dark wood in our room. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were very engaging and a joy to interact with. Loved the location right next to the Brandenburg Gate. Close to all forms of public transportation."
