"Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape...

"The moment I arrived at Cape Grace, the staff greeted me with a warm smile and genuine care. Lucky and the entire staff at the hotel made my sister and me feel as if we were at home with family. Never before had I stayed at a hotel where I felt as comfortable in a familial environment—the room accommodations, the restaurant, and the drivers were all amazing! I can't say enough about our phenomenal experience. We are already making plans to return next September. I love, love this hotel. "

"Everything was perfect. Staff, food, linens, location were amazing. Only problem? Mold on the wall between the toilet and shower. Pretty gross. Fix that problem and I would give them 10 out of 10"

"Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Only problem I had, I was given a room where the A/C did not work and they had a small fan in the room. The fan was not big enough nor strong enough to cool the entire room."

I had always seen the hotel from The Waterfront when visiting Cape Town and when I came back to South Africa for a birthday and anniversary celebration, I knew I needed to stay at the Silo Hotel. "After an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips....
