    Cocavin Carriage House is an impressive conversion from farm vehicle shed to a modern, light-filled studio offering a vaulted wood ceiling, original concrete floor, king designer bed outfitted in all white, luxury linens, oversized walk-in shower, modern tub, complete kitchen, indoor gas fireplace, ultra-quiet split-system AC/Heating, WIFI, ceiling fan, 50” flatscreen with cable service, along with total privacy and set on a gated 65-acre ranch and vineyard. Outside you’ll enjoy your own covered patio with Adirondacks, a gas fire pit table, Propane BBQ, corn hole game, twinkle lights and spectacular sunset views over the vineyard and hillsides. Across the breezeway and driveway from the main house for maximum privacy and recently returned to being offered exclusively as the Carriage House alone.

    Exceptional dining shopping are a close 7-mile drive to town through beautiful vineyards, past top-notch wineries, orchards and cattle ranches. Cocavin is host to Hawks Hill Vineyards and Boutz Cellars onsite with your private access gate just steps away. Walk across the road to Adelaida Vineyards or take a quick trip to Daou, Halter Ranch, Tablas Creek and Justin, all just a bit up the road.     ***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival. Fantasic stay for couples

Stayed at the property for our first wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Clean, peaceful, and intimate. Would highly recommend and if would definitely stay for my next visit to Paso Robles area!

Beautiful stay for family Wine trip

The accommodations were just perfect for my family. The surrounding views from the property were just stunning. The kitchen and coffee bar were well stocked. The large wine fridge was an added bonus. We all just loved our visit.

Romantic getaway

Staying here on our first trip to Paso Robles was perfect. It was very peaceful and scenic. The cottage was beautifully put together with everything we needed. We loved the tub, the bed was comfy and the fireplace was great in the morning chill. We walked the grounds and there were wonderful wineries close by We would return!

Great stay for couples.

The view is nice and pretty private. Woke up to the sunrise out the window. The tasting room right next-door is super convenient and the wineries on Adelaida Road are great. We’d come back for sure.

Amazing view in Paso Robles

We really enjoyed our stay, perfect location next to our favorite wineries. We couldn’t get enough of the epic view surrounding this property. Absolutely stunning! Our family was in love and will definitely be returning. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family. The casita was a huge plus, so comfortable and beautiful. It was easy to communicate with the hosts. We loved everything and hope to return, thank you!

Beautiful property

I had the pleasure of staying at this property and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable. It was evident that the owners and staff took great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, making my stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The property management team was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They were always available to assist with any inquiries I had and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Virtually faultless

Charming, immaculate, feels new, fully equipped for a comfortable short stay. Excellent bed, kitchen, a/c, bathroom. Quiet, good views, fun hike around the vineyard. Many nice details. Straightforward communication. There's no chest for clothes storage. A few details in the extensive and helpful info manual are not up to date.

Great place for a quiet rest

We wanted a quiet weekend and we got it! The little house is cute and efficient. The view of the sunrise is spectacular. We made good use of the gate to the boutique tasting room next door. We would come back. The one concern was the proximity to the main house but that was a non-issue. The bonus feature was being able to walk the working vineyard property for a little excercise. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi, yes we enjoyed the views and all the outside sitting areas. The bed was comfortable but the big problem was the kitchen. We enjoy cooking and we could not be comfortable doing so bcz the sink was sooo backed up. It was disgusting to try and run any water to clean dishes or was produce etc. even running the dishwasher the sink backed up into smelly, nasty concoction of waste. Also the bathroom sink was slow and not conducive to brushing one’s teeth.

This small, converted carriage house was perfect. It was situated within vineyard with an unaffiliated tasting room on the property. It was small but had just about everything we could want. Stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, lovely shower, and several places outside to sit and watch the grapes grow. The only thing it could have used was a small closet or chest of drawers so as not to be living entirely out of a suitcase. But that's a minor nit. Otherwise it was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely stay again.

Nestled among hills of rolling vineyards, the pretty casita has beautiful views near and far - the native-plant garden and a few autumn-turning trees are a foreground to vineyards stretching far to the low lying mountains. What a view of the sunrise, which invited us to step out and ramble the vineyard road skirting the rows of vines. The little house is charming inside, decorated in subtle shades of gray, white and black, hands mepaintings of horses, and bright cozy chairs flanking the fireplace. Great place to read. The kitchen is well outfitted and, although we could have cooked there, we brought in takeout from Hatch restaurant one night to have with a lovely bottle of wine we had bought at a tasting and sat around the kitchen table. Had there been more time and a little warmer weather, we might have lounged on the outdoor chairs gazing at the view or warming ourselves by the brazier. Bathroom is great - excellent shower. I took a bath in the elegant tub beneath one of the horse paintings, lit a candle, sipped some wine and read. Our hosts were very informative, friendly. And immediately responsive to our calls. Nice that the place is a few miles out of town, making it feel like a real getaway. Shall I go on? In short, we had a wonderful stay at this charming, comfortable and very well located guesthouse (not far from many of the tasting vineyards).
