"The property was well kept up and very clean. The hot tub and bicycles were fun. Breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recomend a stay here."

We looked forward to making s’mores every night. And we loved the Smokehouse restaurant right behind the property. Very convenient! And we were within walking distance of downtown!"

"If you want to stay in a hotel with atmosphere and attractive old style ambience than this is your place. I especially liked the kitchen where you could fix your continental breakfast and eat at a round oak table and talk to the other guests. It is in the middle of everything so you can park your car and walk everywhere in Ouray. Fun stay even though the wildfires spread smoke in Ouray the air was breathable outside the hotel and inside. Don’t let a little smoke keep you away."

"It is situated in an adorable little town. The room was nice and the bathroom awesome. There was no tv in the room, which was a little different. We could not figure out how to work the thermostat. Two "issues" that we had: 1. The second night the bar was very loud and we were the first room from the bar. There were also doors slamming everywhere. 2. It was advertised as getting a bottle of wine for each night stayed there. This we had to ask for and then they needed to verify."

"Great place to stay, certain rooms have no bathroom and have to share a space down the hall. I was surprised by this but I should have read the description better! It is a beautiful historic property with great beds and lots of peace."

"The owners were super nice and the building had tons of character. I had to take away stars because the primary reasons I booked at this location was that the property information listed breakfast being included and laundry facilities as a convenience. The owner said they haven't provided breakfast in quite a long time and the laundry facility was a laundromat across the street."
