The best part about this hotel is its location — walkable surroundings that are easy to navigate. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
We stayed for 4 nights, and throughout our stay, the shower in our room did not work. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk daily, it was never fixed. Each time, we received a generic apology card, but no action. We were also not offered an alternative room, making it a frustrating and uncomfortable experience.
Other basics were equally disappointing:
The in-room coffee was of poor quality. The machine appeared unclean, which made us avoid using it altogether.
The bedsheets didn’t feel freshly laundered and had a musty odor, raising hygiene concerns.
The spa advertised on the website was a complete letdown — a dark, uninviting basement space with no staff present. When we asked the front desk, they seemed unaware the hotel even had a spa.
Several standard amenities you’d expect at even mid-range hotels, especially in the U.S., were missing or poorly managed:
No Wi-Fi password was provided at check-in — we had to ask separately.
Luggage valet service seemed disorganized and poorly coordinated. Some random guy came and took off with our luggage even before we got checked in.
Lastly, the balcony in our room was a major disappointment. The photos online are misleading — the space is extremely narrow, and only a petite person can stand there comfortably.
