"Brilliant stay, the staff and the owner were great very homey and warm atmosphere. Very kindly made me an early breakfast each day as I had to be up for a training course. Rooms were clean tidy and brilliantly sound proofed as I heard nothing from the bar downstairs. Great little place would highly recommend."

"Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is...

"This was not our first visit and we are so glad we booked to come again! Staff are all friendly, nothing is too much trouble & whilst it’s not guaranteed we were lucky with an early check in! Make sure you stay for breakfast, it’s delicious with a beautiful view! We will definitely come back! "

"The shower area was great. The room was comfortable. All nicely done. The area it was in is up and coming. There is no elevator, so if you are in rooms 5,6,7 or 8 plan on going up 2 and 3 flights of stairs. Parking is close by."

"Hotel was nice however we're both wheelchair users and asked for an accessible room. We were told we were booked into one but it had a bath. There were no grabs by the toilet. The toilet was really low and could not shut the bathroom door if inside. How tge staff were really nice and helpful and we managed to move as to a fully accessible bedroom with wet room and grab rails 😁"

"The first room we were out in totally stunk of smoke, we rang reception and they moved us to a new upgraded room! The staff were lovely. The breakfast has changed to buffet style instead of ordering from a menu, and definitely isn’t as good now. Overall good stay though. "

"Me and my partner always stay here for a local get away, always LOVE it however was hit with an eye sore of £35 car parking bill, it used to be £11 overnight in the NCP across the road so probably will book elsewhere from now on."
