It’s a small, upscale B&B on two hectares of forest, with a cool mix of old Portuguese charm and modern touches—think restored 1800s beams paired with sleek furniture. We stayed in one of the six suites, which felt cozy and private, like a boutique hideaway. The place was redone in 2019, so everything’s fresh but still has history. "Property overall was great! Room was spacious. Did not love that the gate to the property was left open several nights, in addition to our window being left wide open by the cleaning staff while we were gone all day. Was a little jarring to come home from being out to that with all of our belongings inside. Sheets were also not changed one of the nights when needed. Would still come back for another visit, but did want to call out the few things above."
