"This place is old, it looks old, it feels old and it smells old. First room I had was an old smoking room, it was stale, musty, and smelled like an old damp ashtray. Scott, the desk clerk was kind enough to give me a different room that was better, but not a whole lot. The bathroom was clean but over the years someone has tried to caulk and re-caulk and repair things in a pretty shoddy manner. The exterior key card entrances don’t all work, you have to walk the length of the building to get in...

"It was perfectly located for where we needed to go !! (Went to the states for july 4th-- all hotels in duluth were triple the price. Over the bridge and waaaay cheaper) It was clean. Staff was friendly !
