"Bed comfortable, but no bedside light because of room shape. Furnishings old and basic. Carpets well worn. Owners very welcoming and helpful, so very well looked after during my short stay. No late night disturbance because house shuts down and downstairs alarms set at 10.30pm. Excellent!"

"The shower area was great. The room was comfortable. All nicely done. The area it was in is up and coming. There is no elevator, so if you are in rooms 5,6,7 or 8 plan on going up 2 and 3 flights of stairs. Parking is close by."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, proper old school feel and style that you don’t get any more. Never want to stay in a Travel Lodge again!! The staff were the highlight. Hurraaahhhh for Moira and her 2 lady helpers 🙌 Excellent breakfast. We will definitely stay again. Clare & Kevin Brooks"

"We very much enjoyed our stay again at The Dragon. Lovely location in centre of Crickhowell. Staff were very friendly and helpful and excellent customer service despite being very busy. Food was excellent.Very clean room. The only challenge was driving our car through the very narrow entrance to the car park but appreciate that the building is very old and no cars back then! "

"Our room at the Deri-Down was lovely and comfortable with a large walk-in wardrobe and a modern well equipped en-suite shower room. There was a multi-channel TV, a small fridge with milk, tea/cofffee provided. The landlady was very helpful and allowed my son and his wife to change in our room for the wedding we were all going to. "Had a fabulous stay, staff were absolutely brilliant. Room was lovely and the location was idyllic. We travelled with our dog and she also had a great stay, especially with the on site dedicated dog walk! We will definitely be back"

"Quite remote. Staff gave us free left over curry which was very nice. Beverage options are vast. About a 30 minute drive from pen y fan. Only had WiFi in the main rooms though. No signal or WiFi in the room we were in. We only stayed for one night so it didn’t matter for us. cheap and cheerful. "
