"Location was great, right on the water looking out at islands. Convenient kayak & board rental next door. Food is so so. They have nice coffee machines for lattes, cappuccino’s, etc. and refuse to make them for guests for breakfast! They will only make them later in the day. Bar is good. This hotel is tired and needs a remodel. Walls are so thin the person sleeping in the room next to us woke us up by snoring. "

"This is a fabulous hostel with excellent self-catering facilities, and an amazing location - ideal for those walking the west highland way in particular. The one single negative is that the ladders on the bunk beds have very narrow steps which makes it quite painful on bare feet to climb up and down."

"This was the best castle option we stayed in ! It was beautiful & quiet for nice walks around the property ;) we had to go to the inn fine the road to eat bc we didn’t want the fine dining option after a day of travel and wished they had a golf cart transport as it was a bit far when we walked for us older ladies :/ but the factor inn food was very good :) the staff at the castle were very helpful and delightful ; it was nice to have someone to carry our bags up the stairs !the breakfast was...
