  • Experience the desert beauty of Palm Springs as it was in the mid-20th century at The Lucky Palm, a three-bedroom home that's full of iconic style. Built in 1962 as one of just two of its model, this home is full of open living spaces, large windows and glass doors, new stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops in the kitchen, and plentiful seating around the gas fireplace and Smart TV. The oversize lot is home to an outdoor oasis, where you can unwind in the private swimming pool and spa, tell stories around the firepit in the evenings, and dine with a view of the mountains in the covered lounge and dining area with ceiling fans.

    WHAT'S NEARBY
    This mid-century home is located in the Sunmor neighborhood of Palm Springs, which sits less than two miles east of Palm Canyon Drive and the center of downtown. In the heart of the village of Palm Springs, you'll find a wide variety of acclaimed restaurants, art galleries, shops, theaters, and other forms of nightlife to choose from. Bring along your clubs and spend your days golfing at one of the dozens of world-class courses in the area, or take in a commanding view of the desert valley from the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway only eight miles west.

    THINGS TO KNOW
    -Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
    -The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.
    •Pool and Spa heating can be purchased for an extra fee per day. Pricing can vary, depending on the size of the pool and spa; it can take up to 48 hours to heat. Please reach out prior to arrival if you are interested in adding this amenity.

Great place!

Just as the pictures describe this is a great place to experience Palm Springs. Very comfortable, cool and the backyard pool, fire pit and BBQ set up are primo!

Such a wonderful home!

The Lucky Palm was a wonderful place to spend a few days and relax and enjoy the sunshine. Mornings were spent on the comfy couch sipping coffee and enjoying the Mountain View’s and palms blowing in the wind. Evenings were spent with a cocktail in the hot tub. Very convenient location close to downtown and on a quiet street of Mid Century Modern homes.

Dreamy Palm Springs

We spent four days at The Lucky Palm and thoroughly enjoyed it! It’s a great mid century modern home that gives you everything you need for a comfortable stay along with the vibe we were looking for in Palm Springs. Conveniently located but in a quiet neighborhood. Amazing views of the mountains from the wonderful backyard which included a fun fire pit and great pool. I do regret not requesting to have the pool heated because it looked so inviting but was too cold while we were visiting (prob not said much in PS) We loved Palm Springs and would recommend this home!

Stunning House

The terrace/outside and especially the outdoor furniture was not clean. AC is set at 76F as a minimum and at night set to an even more „reduced“ cycle which created some sleepless nights as we faced record temperatures. This should be mentioned prior to booking as this is a house „policy“. Otherwise, the house is stunning, inside and outside.

Fabulous house but service was not as expected

Great vacation home for 2 weeks. We were given the wrong access number to get the key from the lockbox. Several T.V.’s did not work. We paid in advance for heating the pool, but they were unable to adequately heat the pool and thus we were refunded but disappointing not to have a pool in Palm Springs. Nevertheless, Lucky Palm property was fabulous.

Exceeded Expectations

What an experience. You won't be disappointed by your time at "The Lucky Palm". My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here in October. I was a little concerned with VRBO only having one review, but certainly did not need to be! We were blown away when we arrived. Of course, online photos of this place were incredible but there's nothing quite like rolling up on this stunning MCM property with the beautiful aesthetic with the mountainous views. It was impeccably clean and exceeded our expectations. The furniture was a mix of true MCM and then period appropriate modern pieces. It was stocked with all of the essentials to be able to cook, clean and live for a week. The outdoor space was perfect, clean and everything we could have wanted for a Palm Springs getaway where we baked in the sun for 6 straight days. The surrounding neighborhoods are also filled with incredible homes and a daily walk around the surrounding blocks does not disappoint. When our flight canceled we thought "oh darn... I guess we must stay in this perfect home one more day"... lucky for us, the house was available so stay we did! I would 100% stay here again and feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a guest in this masterpiece. Thank you to the homeowners for opening their stunning home to others to enjoy!
