Expedia provided a great room at a reasonable price 3 months before the stay. Upon arrival the hotel told us this room was given to someone else. They tried to get us to move to residences instead of the premiere ocean view we had paid for. We arrived at 2:30pm and weren’t given the substandard room until 5:30pm. Super frustrating as the staff passed us from one to the other while the concierge continuously apologized. The hotel was fairly empty only about 10 rooms with lights on from the ocean side. The restaurant is very overpriced and also understaffed. The hotel has amazing potential it’s a beautiful property but needs improved management. We often dive at Riveria Beach so I really wanted to love this place for future trips but they have to get it together to earn my business and precious time off again.
