Stunning views in a magnificent waterside location

From the time you arrive you will be greeted with the WOW factor, a totally refurbished property with an extensive deck which overlooks the most stunning water views. Relax on the deck and watch tall ships, yachts, dolphins and (if you're lucky) orcas make their way up and down the channel in front of the house.

This property has been totally renovated with a new kitchen; extended living area; enlarged deck; new en-suite and walk in wardrobe; interior decorating and the list goes on and on. The large master bedroom has panoramic views with a newly renovated en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. It also has plenty of room for a travel cot and other baby paraphernalia if required.

The multimedia system is comprehensive and there is a Blue-Ray/DVD player should you wish to bring disks with you - a small selection of movies is available as well.

Paihia townsfolk are famous for their friendly and welcoming character. The town is a 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) from the house and all its amenities and restaurants are there to explore.

It is the perfect holiday home this "Ahuru Mowai" - a comfortable relaxing haven. The ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Bay of Islands and beyond.

Your Hosts, Gavin and Anita, will welcome you to this corner of paradise and hope you thoroughly enjoy your stay.
Special conditions:
Smoking allowed outside only.

Please advise if you have very small children (toddlers) or babies so we can help you secure the deck and organise a portacot to be made available.

Parking for 2 cars only - other vehicles will need to park on Veronica Street roadside.

Please leave the house clean and tidy, a $100 cleaning fee is chargeable should the property be left in a particularly untidy state.

We do not charge a bond - however we will require an imprint of a valid credit card on arrival.

Lovely property

The home is as described and provided everything we needed for your stay. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and the home was very clean and spacious. The host provided Nespresso coffee pods which made for a quick cup of coffee to enjoy on the deck each morning.

Amazing property

The photos do not do the house justice! The living area opening on to the deck with the views is fabulous. All of the bedrooms have the same view over the water and the master suite is separate upstairs with windows on three sides. Very well equipped house with a thoughtful welcome basket. Light and spacious. An easy 20minute walk into town, which is lovely along the water's edge around low tide.

Fantastic!

What an amazing stay! Great communication and support from Gavin, beautiful location, spectacular views throughout, phenomenal kitchen, AC in every room, great shower, the most comfortable bed we had on our 2 month trip. Don’t hesitate on this one.

Stunning views

Our group of friends arrived to a beautiful welcome basket and stunning views of Paihia. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a dinner in town the first night and then ate at the legendary Duke of Marlborough on the second night. The cruise to the Bay of Islands and the hole in the rock was perfect. Great house and lots to do for our short stay.

Spectacular views - beautiful home

Communications from our hosts were excellent right from the start. I had some issues receiving notifications via the Stayz app once I was in New Zealand (possibly due to my international telco delays and possibly due to me being a little tech un-savvy), but our hosts were very accommodating. The comprehensive welcome pack was provided upon booking, with a copy also at the house which was convenient. The large kitchen was well appointed with appliances/utensils for cooking as well as a great range of herbs. The house is very spacious, providing ample room for us (two couples). The views across the bay are nothing short of spectacular at any time of the day, but especially breath taking with the moon shining down over the sea. We were blessed with lovely sunny days but a stay at this home would still be a special experience even on wintery, wet days. The convenient location is approx 30min walk on a dedicated footpath into the village centre, but also far enough away for privacy. It is a stunning, quality home but we were made to feel at home. The only downside is that we should have allowed in our itinerary for a longer stay!

Such a beautiful place, fabulous accommodation with a spectacular view. Plenty of living space and private sleeping spaces, especially the ensuite upstairs. Would highly recommend the property and the service.

Amazing views and service

The property really lived up to its photos and listing. The views are amazing and the location perfect to enjoy the best of the Bay of Islands. We had a multi-generation family trip and the house worked very well for everyone. The hosts were great and their communication was quick and friendly. We ran out of BBQ gas and Gavin sorted it out very quickly and with no fuss - great service! We highly recommend Veronica Views.

Breathtaking Views!

Our stay was perfect. My parents (80), my sons (19 & 21), and my husband and I all had an incredible time. We were able to walk to town to enjoy a few incredible restaurants as well as watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve from the deck. Sitting on the deck was magical!

Stunning Accomodation

Fantastic location and amazing views

Wonderful house to use as a gateway to the attractions of the Bay of Islands. Easy walk in to town, and very close to waitinga. My wife and I stayed in every night so that we could enjoy the deck and just watch the world go by on the inlet below. House was very well stocked with everything we needed and Gavin was very responsive. We really liked the suggestions that were provided on what to check out on the drive up from Aukland. Would highly recommend
