"Villa Mary was a lovely place to stay, It was well approximated to the Loire river, chateaux and many restaurants, all within walking distance.Mary was so welcoming and a delight to interact with when we ran into her. We easily found parking right in front of her place."

"The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."

"This was the perfect hotel for our family of four! We booked the quadruple room which had two individual bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It came with a mini fridge and armoire and desk in one of the bedrooms. The other bedroom had a bathroom attached. Each room had its own individual air-conditioning units. The hotel was perfectly located next to the river and just steps from all the action in the city. Restaurants, shops, and château’s were easily accessible. We also enjoyed the breakfast...

"The AC was supposedly on but they claimed it was not strong enough to combat the heat wave. They have no intention of upgrading it and their solution was to open windows, use fans, or put ice packs on you. It’s not sustainable for staying here in summer as France is always going to be hot. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in at night due to the hot rooms. It was a cute well maintained hotel but the advertising of AC online needs to be adjusted because I would have selected another hotel....

"Quelque peu déçu par le restaurant lors d'un dîner du soir. Il fallait réservé mais rien sur les documents en chambre le précisait. La table proposée si elle a le mérite de l'avoir été nous a exposés à une ambiance pas vraiment feutrée comme nous pouvions l'imaginer de la part de Novotel...une ambiance bar pas très discrète en fait....et ce, bien avant l'ouverture du match de la coupe du monde opposant l'Espagne à la Belgique. Sinon tous les autres composantes de ce séjour ont été parfaites....

"We stayed here for 2 nights during the June heat wave. The property was interesting, in that it is a bunch of “cottages” that are connected like triplex. There is a pool and laundry facilities on site. Our cottage was clean, and efficient. The only drawback was no air conditioning. With the bedroom upstairs, it was unbearable. We ended up bringing the mattresses downstairs to sleep. Having the pool was fantastic. The location was handy for exploring the beautiful area."

"Exceeded our expectation. Huge attic room for three of us. Very clean. Super friendly staff. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. I literally looked up why it was not Michelin rated using AI, and the answer I got was the food critics don't usually travel far south to the rural area. Everything (including appetizers, entries, deserts) was fantastic, definitely comparable if not better than some of the Michelin restaurants we tried in Paris. We will definitely come back to this hotel if we go...
