Perfect location for exploring the local 7 bays, Wifi, local amenities

Palm Cottage is a modern detached bungalow finished to a very high standard. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with off road parking at the front of the property. Another holiday property is in close proximity and so it lends itself to being suitable when several friends and families would like to holiday together.

Palm Cottage has an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen with a 3 seater and 2 seater sofa, flat screen TV with built in DVD player and dining table with seating for 4. The kitchen has been finished to a high standard with black slate work tops and white cupboards, electric hob and oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer.

The main bedroom has a double bed with storage underneath suitable for suitcases, hanging space for clothes, bedside cabinets with lights, a flat screen TV, a door leading directly into the spacious shower room in addition to the one leading from the lounge. Patio doors leading out to the enclosed decking area.

The second bedroom has twin beds, a large fitted wardrobe, cabinet and also has patio doors leading out to the decking area.

The spacious shower room is finished in charcoal grey and white with a walk-in shower, vanity unit, cabinet and WC.

The decked patio has a covered area and BBQ also table and chairs and a clothes drying area.

All floors are solid wood with under floor heating except shower room which is tiled.

Access is possible for a small wheelchair i.e. not motorised.

An ideal holiday home for 2 couples or the smaller family.

This little house was just right for our autumn visit. Perfectly located for exploring all our favourite haunts along that stretch of the north Cornish coast. The house itself is very well equipped.m; comfortable, good wifi, well equipped kitchen and the underfloor heating was a treat. Highly recommended.

The property is well presented, clean, comfortable and cosy.The location was ideal for us as we have stayed before and use the area as a base to visit other places and sightseeing.The area is a bit isolated and very peaceful so you will need a car for convenience although there are bus services available.Marion and Ray are easily contactable and reply quickly to any requests or questions although we had no problems during our stay

Summer 24 at St Merryn

Perfect location with everything you need. Great restaurant on site for amazing Sunday carvery and meals. The property had everything needed, perhaps lock on gate so doors to rooms can stay open as it was very warm at night. Definitely recommend.

Better than we thought.

The property was ideal for a small family. Good standard of fittings, everything you would need for a family holiday. The bonus was the outside area to the rear of the property, which even had it's own gas barbecue. It's a shame that the weather prevented us using it during our stay.

We met the owners on arrival as we were early and it was know problem . For us and our little god it ticked all the boxes , safe enclosed area for our dog the couple next door were lovely , thanks the host for a lovely cake on arrival milk tea coffee for us to have . Overall 9.5 out of 10

Padstow

Excellent accomodation. Situated not very far from Padstow town centre, this little cottage was spick and span, comfortable and well decorated. It has everything we needed for our one week stay. A very good resting place if you want to explore Cornwall. The cherry on the cake: we found a delicious sponge cake when we arrived. Thank you very much Marion and Ray!

Lovely clean well equipped property, couldn’t ask for more

We had a lovely holiday here and enjoyed staying in this very nicely decorated, clean bungalow, on arrival there was a lovely cake and tea making equipment that was very welcome. Great attention to detail with a file of useful information about the property and the surrounding area, and the local pub/restaurant did good food. The finishing touches were good, even toilet rolls provided! Overall we were very pleased and enjoyed visiting the local beaches.

Overall good.

Property overall a lovely place and great location to access places in the area. Pub/ restaurant on site and local shop. It states that there is a hot tub, This shouldnt be advertised as there is a hot tub because there isint. This didnt effect us and our stay but some people may look for this as a option and with it stating there is a hot tub, Unfortunately its false advertisement. Overall a good stay and wouldnt put us of staying again but the discrption needs to be changed.
