Welcome to Driftwood, a 3 story home with daylight basement at Seabrook!

At Driftwood you will find everything you need to have a great family vacation. Relax in the Adirondack chairs on the wrap-around deck or curl up on the couch in front of the gas fireplace and a Smart TV to watch one of the movies from Driftwood’s DVD collection. There is also a large variety of board games and best-selling novels.

The kitchen comes stocked with everything you need to create your favorite meal. Whip up a stew or chili in the crockpot, make morning muffins with the electric mixer, enjoy an afternoon sandwich with the convenient sandwich maker or easily cook rice in the rice cooker. If you prefer to barbecue, the spacious back deck has a large bbq perfect for burgers, steaks and fish. No need to pack dishes for kids or adults, Driftwood has them both. There is plenty of eating space, both inside on the large dining room table and outside on the bistro table.

In the daylight basement you will find a media room with a 51" Smart TV and Xbox360 with Kinect as well as a large game room with a ping pong table and a bookcase loaded with books, puzzles, games and more.

A five-minute walk accesses restaurants, Front Street Market, and best of all, awesome views of the pounding Pacific surf and pathways and steps down to the beach. Driftwood is located just a block away from the South Alder Park which hosts a community fireplace, charcoal grills, and outdoor furniture. About two blocks away is Crescent Park which has two community fire pits (with wood), horseshoes, shuffleboard, picnic tables, and the South Crescent Indoor Pool and Spa. The exterior Sunrise Pool, Spa & Fitness Center located in the South Farm neighborhood is only a few steps away. Bedrooms:
- Upper floor: This huge upstairs primary bedroom offers a king bed, flat screen TV, DVD player, and a private bathroom with his and hers sinks. The windows on 3 sides give you a great view of the Lily Walk neighborhood and off in the distance you can view the horse stables.
- Main floor: The second primary bedroom has a king bed and private bath.
- Daylight basement: A queen bedroom and a bunk bedroom with 2 sets of built in bunks sharing a bathroom.

The home was very nice, spacious, and in a good location. We had kids, grandkids, and adopted family in all sorts of activities at Seabrook. All the younger people went surfing, fishing, to the concert, riding bikes, and many beach games. The house provided a central locale and plenty of room for all to enjoy indoor activities, also. There 10 of us in the house, and we were joined by 5 others staying in another home, but there was room for all when eating and playing games. A couple of puzzles were put together and games played from the cache in the house. Ping pong was a big hit. Rooms and beds were all comfortable, and there was plenty of linen. We will surely consider the same house again when the opportunity arises.

Family and friends getaway

It was perfect! The location was okay, not that far from town. My husband and I took our daughter and a friend along with our son and 4 friends...all teenagers. The house was perfect. The boys had plenty of room downstairs and made it their own, the girls had a bedroom and my husband and I had our own place. We were able to come together at the kitchen table for meals together and the kitchen was a decent size for meal prep. Everyone had a great time!

So much fun on July 4th

We spent a fun filled family sweet 16, 4th of July here. It was so roomy and comfortable. We really felt home away from home. The space worked great for everyone and my old dog. I appreciate the bathrooms and privacy on multiple floors. Works great for teens!

Nice house overall, although the living area is very cramped. Basement smelled like a cave and everything seemed damp. Need a dehumidifier. You could smell the must/damp when you were at the top of the stairs. House is listed as having a hot tub - no hot tub, and I rented this house for that reason. Extremely disappointing.

Beautiful house, glorious setting . . . just can't ask for more

House was perfect for the 6 adults and two kids who enjoyed the weekend together . . . kids had own bunk room and adults each had a bedroom and bath. All facilities were well cared for and in perfect working order. The working promotional description will make you feel it's closer to the beach than it is, and if it were a crowded weekend, parking could be a problem. Neither were really an issue for us. Other than that, Seabrook and this house were a great combination for our weekend getaway. We'd do it again in a flash.

Our 2018 Christmas getaway

The pictures led us to believe this house was on the beach. Arriving to find out it was not was extremely disappointing. The house was wonderful but was not what we were looking for. Aside from that, the experience was wonderful. The house is small for 10 people but we made it work. Kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. Overall it was a great holiday vacation. This may be the last year my mother-in-law is with us. She just wanted her last year to be together and at the beach. Thank you for making this memory so special.

Perfect for the family

The Driftwood had everything that 5 adults and 2 children needed for the long weekend stay. It was a short walk to the shopping and restaurants, and easy walk to the beach. There were loads of areas to enjoy as a family and wonderful adventures for the kids. We hope to return again and would recommend it to anyone who needs a great vacation retreat!
