The Moose Meadow cabin is one of the nicest cabins in the Mogollon Resort in Overgaard, Arizona. This newly updated cabin offers a great escape surrounded by tall ponderosa pines. It's a great spot to get away, relax, and connect with loved ones.

-Across the highway from Bison Ranch
-7 min drive to downtown Heber
-35 min drive to fishing and great hikes

More details:

The living room has a pullout couch (full-size), propane fireplace, wall AC unit, a TV with RoKu streaming (log into your own streaming apps).

The kitchen has full-size appliances and is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, full-sized mirror, iron+board, and chargers on each nightstand.

The loft has two twin beds and large windows, including a skylight!

The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo and bath products provided. The washer/dryer is also located here.

Out back is the private deck with hot tub. Out front is a relaxing porch and propane grill.

ADDITIONAL THINGS TO NOTE:
This cabin is near the Mogollon Rim and the Petrified Forest National Park.

Pets are allowed. We charge a fee of $50 per pet per booking. (Pets are not to be left in the cabin unattended. Please bring your own blankets/towels for your pet. Pets are not allowed on furniture.)

No fires are allowed in this community.

No refunds will be given for weather-related road closures. We recommend adding VRBO's travel insurance if you are traveling in the winter.

Cute little get a way

We enjoyed our experience. We were there as a much needed mom and dad weekend. The only thing negative is probably the cleanliness. Not a huge deal but the tub had hair in it as well as the sheets and it was quite dusty. Other than that the area was beautiful and thankfully we didn’t have a whole lot of neighbors while staying there and were able to sit and enjoy the peacefulness of the scenery

Very nice little cabin. It was clean with nice beds and linens. Hot tub was very enjoyable with the cool night air. The listing is accurate. The host was responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute Cabin

The cabin was very nice and clean. And there was room for everyone. There is everything you need there to live like at home. They do provide towels, but keep in mind that it is 2 bath towels and 2 beach towels (just in case you do go with more than 2 people and use the hot tub and shower) We will definitely be going back.

We enjoyed our stay at Moose Meadow, but the cabin could certainly benefit from some upgrades, especially the refrigerator, AC and master bed. As far as location, while beautiful, it is hemmed in by fences. The only place to take a walk is on the roads. The grandkids did really enjoy the splash pad that is within walking distance. We are calling this the Lucky Enough Cabin.

Perfect relaxing get away

Perfect Slice of Cabin Life

We were welcomed with the fire place on and heating the cabin. A perfect indoor get away…. With all the essentials from home. We were able to enjoy ourselves away from the city and the hot tub was a huge plus. The layout was very cozy and the loft was neat to see with the sunlight!

Great Family Getaway

We rented this cabin for a 4 day getaway. It is beautiful inside and out. The host was friendly and responsive. The cabin comes stocked with the basics (bring your own food and clothes) and has a TV with good wifi. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the kids loved sleeping in the loft. We spent our days stomping around the lake/woods and our evenings under the stars in the hot tub on the back deck. It was a great out-of-city experience for our kids. We will most definitely visit this cabin again in the future.
